It makes thing easier yes, but for tanks and healer, if your main is a dps you are going to wait from 30-40 minutes per dungeon.
If the tank or the healer leaves, is an instant g.g.

Actually, that’s not true. If a member of your group leaves, your group gets pushed to the front of the line for a replacement, a.k.a, your group gets top priority.

And your actually naive enough to think that matters in the slightest? If your healer leaves your still looking at a 10-15 minute wait. if your tank leaves… god help you!

Actually, I know it does.
I was in some groups where a member had to leave (tank, heals, or dps) and we found a replacement.
that’s not how i remember it. I remember being dps, hitting the queue button and next thing i know I was half way to a boss.

This happens a lot in retail.
Definitely not true unless you played at 3AM in which case you would take even longer to get a group going without RDF. DPS queues were more like 10 minutes and you did it while you quested. Quit making things up

30-40 minutes waiting while doing things like grinding mats, completing dailies, and questing? Oh no.
Compared to 60 minutes of spamming in a main city because people turn off LFG and you can only access trade chat in cities?

And you know what allot of us tanks do when we get a dungeon were the other tank obviously left early? We auto leave group because if the last guy didn’t want to put up with your crap then why should I?
As a tank myself, I can say we don’t all leave. I do often ask why the other tank left, but I don’t leave. I only ask to start a conversation.

Personally whenever I’ve gotten a dungeon in progress it’s been the much, much more common experience for the rest of the group to be way better than average, and often comments on how I’m way better than the last tank

You requeue and a healer is refilled. Its not gg. When I healed I got put into dungeons in progress all the time.
Thats 20m wait realistically I could do other things like… mine and craft gear and weapons. Do dailies. Farm stuff. All this having to manually look for a group forces you to basically AFK

Or it did drop, he gets it and proceeds to leave. And again, replacement… If u make the 5man u know what all of the members want…
Really? cuz every time i have used it i just list myself and do something else while i wait for an invite. Then again i never play dps specs so i never have to put any effort into it.
I play everything. I tank, I dps, I heal. Doesnt matter. But yes if you are looking for a group and you want to get into something, you have to be on the ball doing nothing else realistically. I dont really like that.
If they brought in RDF then it should be around late Ulduar or ToC patch. Far after heroics dont matter at all.

ACTUALLY thats supposed to be true but it often broke and you still had to wait 10+ minutes for a tank.
Sometimes, sure, but not even the majority of the time.
