Something is off

I’ve been playing for nine hours, and only won ONE battleground. I’m sick of feeling like the Horde wins more than the Alliance.

I feel like I’m wasting my time playing this game.

You can always merc

But if you lose THAT often, whatever you’re doing is probably a factor.

You can blame me all you want. It’s not on me for how many times we’ve lost.

How many people are in a random battleground and you want to blame one person?

as horde, i feel the same way. alliance always wins. maybe we both suck.

they need to just add cross-faction like in battleground blitz.

I’m trying to figure out how to phrase this in the least rude way I can… random bgs are generally mostly filled with people who aren’t the best at the game. If you can’t carry your team to more than one victory over a ton of queues then I’d argue that, while the loss might not be solely your fault, you probably are doing plenty of stuff wrong that’s preventing you from having a bigger impact.

If this is the character you’ve been playing then I’d recommend starting with getting some better gear. At this point in the season it’s already possible to have 4 pieces of conquest-level gear, including the two-piece tier set.

No that’s not what I’m saying at all. In fact I literally went out of my way to say it wasn’t all your fault.

Why are you being so weirdly rude/defensive to someone trying to help you?

You’re not trying to help anybody. If you were trying to help you would ask questions instead of assuming.

You even came after the gear I have on. I literally just started yesterday. SMH.

Are these epic BGs or regular ones? Brawls? Korraks revenge? Blitz? How long have you been pvping?

Epic BGs are often outside of your control, though I have found that giving positive direction when things aren’t going your teams way does sometimes help. For example, losing the fight at SR in WG demoralizes a lot of people. Sometimes it’s good to remind them that other bases exist, the game is at least 15-20 mins long always, and just because we lost the lag fest doesn’t mean the game is over. It’s harder to win, yes, but not impossible. And you still get a good amount of honor for losing those games so long as you try.

Regular BGs, you’re more of a burden if you’re not doing anything or can’t compete. That’s not a shot at anyone in this thread, but it is true. If you don’t have the gear, you can still be helpful in small ways. Calling out incs, where the EFC is, ninjaing bases as a stealth class is surprisingly easy. If you’re caught, you’re dead, but if you’re successful that can literally be a game changer. Don’t just sit at bases and hope your team will carry you. Chances are slim.

The weekly brawls are tough. More competent players are often in those for their better rewards, so difficulty can be higher.

Anyways, keep your head up and do epic bgs until you’re fully geared through honor. Then branch out, learn, and have fun. Losing is easier to take when you aren’t relying on rewards and are just there to dominate or earn small victories.

Assuming what? I looked at your character, saw that you only had honor gear, and let you know that there were some major upgrades you could make that would improve your performance in bgs in case you didn’t know for whatever reason. Nobody is “coming after your gear” or whatever. You literally made a post complaining about how you’re losing a lot of bgs lately and I’m trying to give you a suggestion on one of the things you can do to help fix that.

Whatever keep gaslighting. :joy:

You really don’t need any more than honor gear to fully hold your own at this point in the season in a random BG, but every extra bit can help (ofc).

How many BGs was that in 9 hours? I’ve kept track of my W/L a lot this expac and it’s consistently sat around 1/3 as Horde. It was nice at the start when you could merc alliance but that’s gone now, so it’s either reroll like the rest or put up with a worse ratio.

This is a troll post because OP keeps liking his own comments with five of his own alts.

Freaking got em.

As others have said, if you played for 9 hours and only won one game, then there is a common denominator here and it’s you.

Like, if you played 5 games in an hour and a half, and you only won a single game. Then sure you could have just been queueing at the wrong time and getting the c-team over and over again. But 9 hours? NINE HOURS? You’ve cycled through so many teams at that point that it’s got to be something that you’re doing.

Ieroy was trying to be nice about it. He’s right in saying that it’s not your fault. You need to look at it like this… It’s not your fault that you’re losing, but it is your fault that you aren’t winning. It takes a full bad team to lose, but it only takes a handful of good players to win. If you’re good, and you played for 9 hours and got paired with another good player or two through your queue, then you would have won.

Top 5 reasons for loosing a bg
#5 You play Alliance
#4 You play Horde
#3 Have not completely geared this season
#2 You are still learning the character.
#1 You have not sacrificed your gnome this season to the pvp gods

(Best advice, if you are losing more than 3 in a row take a break and try later when the groups change up. Even waiting 15 mins can get you into a different pool of players.)

Don’t que random battlegrounds they have been a sht shw since shadowlands prepatch. If you cant carry your team dont expect to win, i have completely gave them up, Theirs no scaling anymore and since the wow pvp community had that removed after bfa and legion. If you dont have 2 set in the first week random bgs are going to be horrible again.

Best advice is to do battleground blitz since theres some scaling there or wait for next week till u can get a 2 set.
