You assume I want this change for just making conversation? An elf said something similar. I’m just here to see what people’s reasons are for not wanting it, and why they seem To have so much dislike like the other faction.
People are very bitter especially alliance. So I just want to know why. I already got my answers from most people and have a better picture.

Alliance play the game at a massive disadvantage already (see 21/24 pvp servers being horde favored), as soon as the horde get one slight disadvantage they want it changed immediately or they quit, the entitled attitude they have is mostly why the retail game is the way it is

I’ve seen it go both ways depending on the patch or expansion. Both sides have mass quitters when something doesn’t go thier way. That’s just players in general. Not every player is a die hard for the wow. So of something isn’t right they quit.
I quit retail cause I didn’t like the pvp system. Not because of my faction. I just jump servers if my population for main faction gets low.
Every person in entitled that’s just humans. We can’t help it. If the game isn’t fun then they quit.
I can see Blizz adding faction change at some point (for a $), but I dont think most hordes will take it. They want more =/
If you think I’m being horrible to anyone, you are mistaken. I am just calling it out as it is. And them complaining about it is just going to make it worse for them down the road. There’s an easy fix for it, reroll to ally. But they don’t want to, so they will continue this façade of “omg these queues”. Being truthful, in your eyes apparently, is being “mean”. I’m starting to wonder how people are going to act in the up coming days when things still don’t go there way.

What will happen is what always happens. People will leave the game. If it’s not fun then why play? That’s how everyone goes about video games. It’s also why wows sub numbers spike every patch, xpac, or classic version…then drop a month after. It don’t matter what faction you play. If the game isn’t fun then why play?

I did forget to add that unfortunately rerolling is not something a lot of players will do. Many alliance always say they won’t play horde cause they “don’t like the races, except Tauren”
both of my two friend groups IRL are horde. No matter how many times I try to get them to play alliance I can’t. “If I want to play lord of the rings I will go play lord of the rings.” Or “I don’t want to see all female characters, also they don’t have tauren.”
It’s funny how both sides always seem to like Tauren.
If you weren’t being mean then don’t worry about it. Just most post I’ve seen have been very bitter. So maybe I misread or understood.
I actually hated Horde models too. I started as alliance and played ally for 12 yrs until classic I wanted to try shaman out. I also started liking orcs and horde models so I wanted a different look at the game. But no one wants to play a game where you are %90 afk and %10 gameplay. This needs to be addressed asap, if you want us to play alliance then give up xfers.8-15 min queues were fine, but 30 + mins? You get home from work,you are in queue for 2 hour to play 3 games and lose almost all because everyone has resilience gear on alliance.
Not sure where this 3-4k an hour mantra comes from. You win about 10% of games as pug alliance. You get like 200 honor from a 20 minute EOTS loss. It’s absolute garbage.
Go back to classic. You knew the situation when you signed up as horde for tbc
Remember how funny it was in phase 2 when you vould hang out with the rest of the horde and camp alliance going to brd? Yeah that was fun. Not having so much fun anymore you say? Oh yeah, REAP IT!!

I originally wanted to be alliance dwarf hunter in vanilla. However my family was all horde. I ended up loving to play a tauren. I had a night elf warrior alt. It’s always been a + to play both sides. If I get frustrated at horde I got alliance.
Not everyone played classic. So using that doesn’t work for every situation.
Also everyone knew horde ques were 15 minutes all retail. I’m sure people expected the same in classic and people that started tbc classic. 15 minutes is manageable 30+ isn’t.
If u were not part of it then thank those who were. A lot of allaince quit for the same exact reasons. Imbalance. Except the imbalance in phase 2 that horde abused created longer ques.

Fighting fire with fire isn’t the way to solve the issue. If you’re new to the thread then you should know I’m asking players why they are so upset and spiteful. P2 classic sounds like it hurt for you as well. I didn’t play much of classic so only just learning about the drama that played out.
Dude thats phase 2 and you chose a pvp server. Thats how it was back then too,one side always dominated.Back in vanilla horde was actually outnumbered and ally had more numbers.I CHOSE to play this game on a race I wanted to. You CHOSE to do PVP its an option of the game its not a requirement.Am i required to be alliance so i can have a better quality of time?. I’m asking for game-balance on both sides that doesnt effect gameplay but brings game quality to the better health of the game overall.
