Thatās why Iām thinking blizzard might add faction changes in. Give people the option and see who takes it.
Did you know that, in retail, Horde dominates? The 43 of the top 50 guilds are Horde? It could be cause the best players want to play that faction, or it could be that a snowball effect of having āOPā racials?
Point is, most of the top players are PvPers. If you remove the main gameplay reason to play Aliance, many people will go Horde. This will start a snowball effect of good players going Horde, then you end up with the same situation in Classic that you have in retail.

If players drop the game, they can take some action. Otherwise, not likely.
Itās actually terrible right now. The amount of people that are going to quit if this isnāt fixed is huge. Alliance are almost fully geared in honor blues/epics stomping Horde because they are so much more geared. Iāll be quitting if this isnāt addressed. Alliance players will have an astronomical advantage going into the first week of the Arena season because of this.

And what they did is help kill alliance even more as Horde already has the many other benefits from being the dominant faction.
More raid group opportunities.
More PUGS.
Much less ganking in the world. Zone dominance.
AH more populated.
Arena is even horde vs horde.
Fast BG queues are literally the only thing alliance has going for it and still horde are still here trying to take that away too.

I didnāt experienced queue times like this back in the day.
This will become the quit factor for me if not resolved and I will never re-roll alliance.

Out of curiosity, do you enjoy your very short quest times in retail?
So horde should suffer because Iām suffering?
Also not all servers are horde dominated. Be thankful you have the choice to server change if you like. Some of these people stuck as horde canāt fa tion change their main.
I get pvp servers itās an issue with faction balance. You can always pick a server with better alliance numbers. Or go pve. Yet I take it youāre in an established guild, with friends right. So thatās not an option right?
Maybe people playing horde are in the same boat. Or feel like their in a similar one.
Suddenly all the horde players who ārolled Horde to play with friendsā will be all alliance humans

I play horde on classic so it even impacts me but I donāt want it changed. This is how classic was and should be.
Playing alliance on retail though, Iām quite familiar where this path leads for horde and I donāt have any sympathy for a faction that had 1 issue in a sea of benefits.

You will need to do BGs to get your offset every season. This issue is not going away

Luckily for you Arenas arenāt faction specific, and chances are youāll be facing far more horde than us broken OP alliance
But if you are threatening to quit because you canāt handle not everything being skewed in your favor for once, I say DO IT

yeah, we are in established alliance guilds and communities so we have to take the positive with the negative, just like you should. But you wonāt. You want it all.
