At least half of the classes can solo the place, and the others group together in pairs or threes to farm the place in a manner that it was no doubt never intended.
Hunters being able to cheese a tribute run is ludicrous.
Mages and Warlocks being able to solo east by resetting and running into the cave is clearly a circumvention of the intended mechanics.
The vast quantities of gold which are being amassed by some people is starting to affect the economies of all the servers, and as time goes on the situation is only going to deteriorate.
The good news is that only a few things needs to be done to stop the rampant gold farming.
Lashers need to be nerfed again
The reset spot on the platform next to the imp cave needs to be eliminated
All of the bosses need to ignore line of sight so that they can’t be cheesed by pathing around pillars.
Eliminate the thorium veins and add more of them (along with Black lotus spawn increases) to the overworld map.
With people already sitting on 10k+ gold, things need to be changed now before they continue to spiral out of control.

The bots exist because lotuses are far too valuable. Something needs to be done to reduce their value- I agree.

Inb4 You just want it nerfed because you got yours and don’t want anyone else to benefit. I give away gold to my friends and boyfriend. This is not about me.
Or…you could always roll one of those characters and farm gold the same way…
Also, because the vast majority of gold never leaves circulation, inflation is bound to happen. There’s really only a few gold sinks in this game…

This phrase is getting thrown around WAY too much as of late. There seems to be a massive confusion of clever playing with actual exploiting; rather by genuine ignorance or by jealousy.

Because of this the value of items from chests are pretty low. Demand from tribute items has also died down quite a bit because most players already have what they need and the alt wave has died down for the most part. Once BWL and ZG are released, tribute run items will no longer even be sought after for the most part. This issue will fix itself

Sorry bud, but as a holy priest trying to farm high end mats on a PVP servers is near impossible in the open world. Ill take my 35-50g and hour and the occasional epic/blue from the lashers in DM:E.
They don’t need a nerf, at least half the mobs in every pack have nothing, frequently the entire pack has nothing. It takes 2-3 hours just to get one stack of the serated petals(vendors for 12g). Not to mention you need a 6.7k mana pool just to do the farm without buffs or popping PI/IF every pack.

There is no point in doing this on my realm. People rarely buy chest contents at this point and when they do, they think that I will wait for them to make their way from IF to DM for 20g.
If we’re talking about nerfs though, I can think of a ridiculously over tuned class to start with Mr. Warrior.

mages can just do one-pull booster runs of SM cath for more gold per hour than any dungeon could give them
isn’t the entire point of Dire Maul to be a welfare dungeon? I’d actually prefer more dungeons to have things like this; it’s fun to practice and it feels good to succeed at.
