Someone made GDKP as a service

Calling people apes is deffo not a good look.

This is why people who hate GDKP, hate GDKP. It’s why we have no use for people like you. You could care less what your cheating does to the game, as long as you get your gear when you want it, even if you’re buying gold for it (and you are as you just mentioned.)

GDKPS exist because zoomers want to cheat and don’t really like MMOs.

It’s the least of verbiage I’d prefer to use in reference to these cheaters.

Well, hope that works out for you.

Use some of that gold and buy yourself a few extra paragraphs. You madman you lol

We’re all moving to IDKP. Raid leader picks the item the day of the raid; something plentiful on the AH that day. We just bid on gear for those items and evenly distribute the pot of items at the end of the raid. Its so simple.

This was exactly my experience in the Naxx phase of Classic. Raided Naxx with my guild, then to pay for consimes I became part of a large GDKP group that ran each raid 2-3x a week. In each 40 person raid, there were maybe 2-3 gold buyers that would pay insane amounts to get each bis piece first, then their gold was recycled within the group as people were able to afford big items tickets later

Are you defending having gold buyers in every GDKP spreading their mountain of gold around?

No, I’m pointing out that all the people saying 'GDKPs are full of gold buyers" are wrong. It’s likely about the same percentage of gold buyers as the general population

Exactly. Same analogy for pewpews which at least half of the world doesn’t understand either. We don’t expect them to understand GDKPs either

Big brain GDKP’er supremacy. You heard it here, if you don’t like GDKP, you just don’t get it and should probably get a brain morans

Hyper growth opportunity.

GDKP ban drama from alt accounts gonna be juicy and salty. Cant wait to read the rage from silly people wasting large amount of irl cash on pixels. I for one will be reporting anyone that promotes it.

The End

“alright boys, the pot is 63 lotus… now to split this 40 ways…”

idkp enjoyers are gonna figure out really quick why we dont use the barter system, assuming blizz doesnt just slap you with a ban anyways for trying

People gdkp because it is path of least resistance. If you think that it’s still going to be that way when you need to exchange whatever the new currency of the week is every week, you’re delusional. You’re going to have to track down the secret clubs that are ban evading to do it, which won’t be path of least resistance either. You’re going to have to convince everyone to download price tracking addons to keep everyone straight on what the market value of 300 earthroot is while they bid using these currencies of the week, which will not be the path of least resistance.

Path of least resistance becomes joining a guild that runs regularly or just pugging.

That’s great.

They’re still gonna pop you for buying gold.

I told you players are going to massively loophole/bypass this illogical restriction by the time it’s even put in. Barter was an obvious solution. Instead of gold, players will simply use plants, bars, enchant shards. If Blizzard steps in to stop this as well, players will no doubt go use a site that handles real money directly without ever touching gold OR materials.

Blizzard, just like an ignorant state, is backing the wrong side. Instead of trying to disrupt trade, they should have simply left it alone. Alternately, they could have made boss drop tokens tradable, meaning that could be used instead of gold. I view this as a fantastic idea because boss drop tokens would be harder for bots to farm and have weekly locks, meaning there’s a cap on the growth one way or the other. But instead of backing this side, Blizzard goes the complete opposite direction, totally dumbfounded.

Nobody is going to use a barter system lmao

i cannot wait to see the first video of a gdkp runner trying to do all the calculations and conversions to make a payout in random amounts of mixed goods or whatever work. :dracthyr_crylaugh:

taking the whole thing out the game and handing money around directly via paypal is far more likely what the really dedicated rmt enjoyers will start doing,

thats much less damaging for the game overall though, so who cares if some idiots want to hand dollars to some guy online who is basically under no actual obligation to return any of it for pixels

im sure that system wont be rife with scamming lol

So what percentage of GDKPers being gold buyers is acceptable?10%? 20% Higher?

Look, the system encourages gold buying. You yourself said even it’s only a few people, they buy outrageous amounts of gold and spread that gold to everyone in the GDKP. Now everyone has dirty money. That money gets spread throughout the server. And that’s just one GDKP run.

This is a good step, but Blizz needs to actually police the game and follow through on bans. Whether or not they do is something we’ll find out.
