Someone logged onto my account?

I had a friend notify me that someone was on my account playing CoD MW a week or so ago. Short story: friend saw me online. tried to add me to a party. I didn’t respond. they texted me. I notified them that I was not playing. When I submitted a support ticket with blizz I was told that there was no malicious activity on my account. There was no one else left in the household who would have gotten onto my PC either. Are there any other ways to verify this?

I know I can add a 2-step auth to my account now but that doesn’t give me peace of mind that nothing else was tampered with.

When Blizzard states there was no malicious activity it usually means the account was accessed from the same IP address as usual. You might want to question people in your household to find out who might have had access.

You realy need to add a authenticator otherwise alot worse could happen and it would take longer to undo the damage.

Attaching an Authenticator would be highly recommended, especially since you have a World of Warcraft license, other games aren’t as big a target because they don’t have tradable currencies, though still recommended.

I don’t know how much visibility we’d have into Call of Duty activity other than how you logged into the game through Battle.net. While it is a game that is launched through our platform, it isn’t run by Blizzard, it’s an Activision game. Outside of purchase and installation issues, you’d want to reach out to their support with any issues you may have with access.

Can you see what IP address Battlenet launched from?
