Please. Someone, I’m genuinly baffled DH been untouched when then are clearly still broken.
IMO, the high level goal is to make every class/spec viable to play in this game mode by anyone at any rating. To determine success at that wide of an array starts with where we’re at. Place every class “high” whether damage or healing. Starting low can “break” tons of things as you prune up. If you start high, monitor the data through trending, play time, class/spec/race favorites & filter down through all sorts of other categories you can prune down.
If anything, imo, rsham will likely move up a tier now due to their armor type & not receiving the full extent of the hit while maintaining the stamina buff from the trinket set bonus.
And of course, dying while playing a healer at any rating in any game mode really, really sucks when your job is keep people from dying so I really believe this is a pretty insane change all around for healers.
PSA: RMP is going to be wild on Tuesday.
Edit: general sentence structure
bc blizz has no clue what they are doing.
Because they don’t balance off of RSS at a guess and DHs certainly don’t seem oppressive in normie 3s.
Better question is how enhance didn’t see any changes
Honestly, at this point, they probably should. I’m guessing 90%+ play RSS over normal rated arena. It would make for a healthier game, and they should make monthly arena tournaments to compete in like other games where people can form teams to compete.
But this is Blizzard, they are just going to milk this dead cow until no milk come out.
DH damage is absurd and it’s very clear the class is propping up players to higher ratings than they deserve. It’s a clear outlier.
It’s very frustrating playing with these keyboard turning smooth brains who W key all game and occasionally use their instant cc and do unhealable damage.
They weren’t selected for negative tuning changes.
sub rogue btw
I play basically every class in the game mainly healers actually but thanks for the input Blood DK!
They nerfed armor and blade dance out of demon form is physical damage so… well I dont have to tell you
BD is chaos to primary target. The aoe part is physical. Glaive toss is physical, so casters will take less damage from that and soul rend (applies dot % of damage from the glaive damage). Plate might take slightly more damage now from soul rend and glaive.
which means DH are like 10% stronger into plates… gratz blizzard, your devs know what they are doing
100% of their damage profile would have to be physical for them to be 10% stronger into plate.
Theres something called snowball effect…
Sometimes, 7% more physical damage from multiple different sources, could mean a gap of 20% in final equation.
Example, if DH wons 5 of 10 matchs against certain plate, now they can won 7 of 10. Its not a 7% overall result.
is this some sort of chewbacca defense
They didn’t nerf DH because they had to keep a class that is going to be viable against the upcoming wave of Locks/Boomkins, but didn’t take an armor hit as a plate wearer, yet can still just as easily die to its leather class counterpart nemesis that is Sub Rogue lol
Jk, idfk really.
DH escaped nerfs, and locks got buffs when they were already S tier. Please Blizz you still have time to find a balanced meta before the AWC.
Nerf locks, nerf DH, closely watch Arms. Buff Feral, Buff Enhance. Closely watch Ret they may have gotten over buffed.
Otherwise the meta is looking like it might be fun and balanced.
sadly this. id love to believe this is some 200 iq changes that relate to scaling and that the stam buff for everyone will even it all out somehow.
but the reality is this is the same people that did the ret pala in the middle of season 1
Just wondering, what actually is the meta right now?
I’d expect we would see a lot of Rog/Lock/RDruid/DHs(?) in the upcoming AWC?
They strong at lower rating but bad at top rating. This has always been the case since dh has never won an awc.
