NOt sure what vanilla launch you were part of, but it wasn’t anywhere near this bad for me.

Vanilla had its’ issues … but I certainly didn’t have to wait for 3 (soon to be 4) hours to get to play the game after a “world server is down” bug.

So I’m watching a few streams while I’m in queue, from the big streams like Asmo to the small ones with 5 viewers. I noticed something potentially really bad.

Shortly after the stream started, somebody traded a streamer 2 gold and it was shown in the trade window. This shouldn’t be possible. This was on Asmogold’s stream.

Then on a smaller streamer, somebody opened a trade window with 10 gold. The window itself is showing the gold amount which you cannot do unless you have that gold on your character.

Mobs drop a few copper. Having 2-10 gold at launch shouldn’t be possible.

Any ideas?

simple, roll a rogue, sit in first zone, pickpocket for that 15c and with increased spawn 2-10G shouldn’t be hard.

Maybe his fans are buying gold to give to him? I would hope they wouldn’t risk it. Unless all his fans pooled their money? Just seems suspect to me. It took me and several others to get 10silver to form our guild, so yeah, something is rotten in Denmark my friends…
