Consecration damage not interrupting people from capturing flags
is this accurate? i could swear any kind of daamage interrupted flag caps?
consecrate does not break it. Like the ground effects wont interrupt you. Just like i think The after effects of flamestike dont break it but the initial hit breaks it.
Hurricane doesn’t either, oddly.

i think this is accurate.
Damage over time effects do not interrupt flag captures for pvp objective nodes (AB/AV,EoTS)
You need to directly attack things.
This includes Hurricane, Flamestrike ground effect (the direct hit does), dot spells that don’t have a direct damage part, Magma Totem, Consecrate, and other’s like the Heart of Eranikus psn aoe.
Consecrated ground, DoT, and many other non direct damage ability do not stop flag capping.
Lol just saw your post, ya kinda surprised people don’t already know this considering the rules on this haven’t changed since original vanilla.
Yeah it’s legit that consc isn’t supposed to break it, if I remember right though it’s still useful to break stealth and prevent you from being sapped when defending
It’s accurate. It works like this in retail as well still today. Just gotta figure out the ones to use.
