Some questions about the MoP Classic prepatch

When the pre-patch happens, i know I can make Monks and Pandas and Monks that are Pandas, I can do pet battles. But…

Will the level cap still be 85 or will it be 90?
Will I be able to upgrade my heirlooms to 85 when the pre-patch hits (i.e. Darkmoon Faire tickets), or do I have to wait until the full Expansion comes out? I’m gathing Champion seals and getting Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde so i can buy heirlooms with seals, and then use Darkmoon tickets to upgrade them (and I know I cant get the Agility Staff thing until MoP comes out).
Is there anything else I need to know?

Level cap doesn’t increase until the expansion proper drops. How else would you level?

No way of knowing about heirlooms. The items that upgrade them weren’t added until 5.2, and there’s no way of knowing if they’ll be added early in Classic

For nitpicking’s sake you could level to 90 with only 85 content available. The last level would take forever though.

But the point being that no pre-patch has ever increased the level cap. That’s always been at expansion launch.

It is most likely going to be a copy and paste from the original panda pre-patch. Your best option is to check YouTube and Google to find the old archived blue posts from the MoP pre-patch to get a good idea of what to expect. Also, this is Blizzard, so it can all change on a whim honestly. Therefore, players do not exactly know what to expect; we are just going off hunches from what happened the first time around.

but why not? I don’t wanna to wait til the expansion launches and level in the new zone. I want to reach level 90 and raid the current level 85 content.
