Some payment methods can't be used

So I had my subscription on auto renew on a monthly biases. Just recently however I have to now manually go in and re subscribe. However its giving me a message saying “Heads up! Some payment methods can’t be used!” Message with no further info on what is the problem like if its a credit card problem or something else? Did Blizzard change something with how we can subscribe now?

It might also help if you clear out any old payment sources, and set up a new subscription.

Well I’m using Visa so everything should check out unless its a credit card issue on the banks end…

That could be a problem on the banks end also, but just about anything can be branded as “Visa”, “Mastercard” etc. Even prepaid cards you can buy at stores can be branded that way, won’t always work on subscriptions.

Ok, so little update, it now says on the website that I have a subscription, but on the app it still says subscription expired?

I see the attempt to setup a subscription earlier today but it looks like that order has failed.

It’s possible your credit card provider is no longer allowing subscriptions for some reason. You may try a 1-time purchase of Game Time and see if that goes through, since it doesn’t have recurring auto-payments associated with it.

So apparently it is my credit card, I just called them, going to have to visit the bank tomorrow and get it fixed!
