Some Changes

So, with the indication of #somechanges being considered and the example of the progressive drums, I’d like to request some other changes:

  1. Progressive badge system.

I’m stealing straight from Wrath of the Lich King, but Badges of Justice should be delineated into three different versions.
Original TBC had the same badge throughout, but there they added badge gear in three waves: the initial launch gear, more powerful ZA-themed gear, and then extremely powerful Sunwell-themed gear.

I think including the daily heroic quest at launch is a great idea, but I don’t think the badges we earn in launch week should be able to be stockpiled to buy T6.5 level gear when IoQD comes out.

  1. Ability to purchase Arena gear from 1 season prior for honor.

In original TBC, honor purchased Arena gear that was TWO seasons old (ie you could buy S1 gear in S3). There’s no need for honor to be two seasons behind, make it just one behind.

  1. Somewhat hand-in-hand with #2, I think the rating requirements added in season 4 to Arena gear should be present at launch for Season 1

In original TBC, S1 and S2 arena gear had no rating requirement at all. You could lose 10 games a week and still buy a full set before the next season started.

Season 3 added requirements for the arena weapons and shoulder.

Season 4 had different rating requirements on almost every piece of gear.

The season 4 approach gave the gear more of a progression feel rather than a treadmill.

  1. I get where you’re coming from, but look at the prices of the Sunwell badge gear for example…some items are 150 badges. They are priced assuming you are stockpiling them already.

  2. Would be nice, I certainly wouldn’t complain about this change.

  3. Nahh, season 1 is going to be lively precisely because there is no rating requirement! PvP is always more fun when PvE players join in as well.

Please leave WotLK features/Systems where they belong. We will get there eventually.

Yes, plz – I would like my Season2 arena gear (purchased with Honor Points) in Season3

The sooner my Resto Druids reaches unsoloable status, the better.

( I’ll always love you, [Shard of the Virtuous] and [Lamp of Peaceful Repose] )

The sunwell vendor unlocks more items as the server progresses through the raid gating. Takes a couple weeks.

Doing the daily heroic and clearing Karazhan nets you ~62 badges per week.

You’ll get more if you are actually raiding or grinding heroics.

Nah, its easy to get 150 in late game with how everything drops badges.

Two out of three! I’ll take it.
