Then why now are you playing on a nonFresh, stagnant server? Whats the difference between it and Era? When EXACTLY does a realm stop being FRESH? I asked you this before and you said when the next season starts so either something has changed or you were being dishonest in your previous reply.
Because I am an established character on this now established server. This is the goal of playing fresh.
If that is the goal of playing fresh then you could easily do the same on any other realm.
not really
Can we have another Season of Mastery? Please?
No.
Next season is Season of Survival.
FFA pvp on all servers all zones and looting of gear/coin on your corpse is allowed.
Terry will be afraid to leave the Blasted Lands this time.
I don’t even think they’ve made any mention of another season. I wonder if their “fresh wrath” is their answer.
No one wants to play SOM in the first place you dingus. The only ones are people who benefit from a so called PhReSh server - AKA the goldsellers, bots and toxic community.
Ok dumb dumb
Ya that “downtime” has been the entire season. lul.
People should recognise the purpose of the first SoM was to create a non-WB meta Classic. Now that Blizzard has data from WB + non-WB classic, they can now begin to tune the experience in upcoming SoMs. It is likely we will not get a SoM: TBC or LK at all or maybe in quite a few years but Vanilla is most definitely an experience the developers can and will refine, moulding each new release as a dev’s playground.
But also the comments are spot on in that the first SoM was just too quickly released, I would have thought SoM would have come once they released Classic: LK but I think they now realise that error.
At my most optimistic I view SoM as a sandbox testing ground for Classic+. Although I have no desire of ever playing on seasonal realms, I’ll concede SoM has made at least one lasting contribution to the benefit of the Classic Franchise via their anti-boosting changes.
If someone from SoM could comment, how do these XP nerfs affect a party of level-appropriate toons with one lowbie in the mix? For example say four lv58s and a lv50 walk into Dire Maul. Does everyone’s XP take a hit or just the 50?
I don’t know how it calculates what’s too low but I don’t think a 8 level difference will reduce your exp. I had a lvl 41 with me when I was like level 28 and I was getting like 90% reduces exp per kill in SM GY.
Right. I guess I meant to ask do the level-appropriate toons get penalized for bringing a lower lvl with them?
Not sure, I wouldn’t think so if I had to guess
Fresh wrath seems like a great idea, if they wouldn’t allow transfers and boosts after 3 months. To me that kind of kills the whole idea… of having a fresh server. Back in the day I would have been a bit more denigrating about something like this but I appreciate Blizz for helping us at least have a classic experience.
Yep. They make the expansion available, but that’s about it
If I want to reroll on Classic Era, where do I begin? Are there official discords? I will always be a Classic Forever fan. Currently play retail as well and might level something in TBC Classic for Wrath Classic.
make an alliance toon on the pagle or mankirk cluster it has the best leveling population
How do I know what servers make up those clusters, and of those servers, how do I know which has the highest pop? Is this info anywhere?
Thank you!
