Because that’s what you are suggesting lol
Vanilla is good because of some things can never be gotten by most players. Increasing access = more like retail. Which will eventually make it bad.
Every single change in SOM (except for mount while noggen) was terrible. We should be fighting for new seasons with no changes.
Nope. Fight for era to have fresh resets. Seasons are for change lol.
Yes, and to those changes I say go back to retail / wotlk because that’s what you are suggesting.

Then stay on era and shut it i will say to you friend <3
BGs have always been solo qued and ranked BGs didnt exist in Vanilla… so im confused about that specific complaint
The SoM changes were really good overall - there were some I didn’t enjoy but eliminating the welfare loot of world buffs and the retail boosting of mage carries were great.
I stand by what I said.
SOM woulda be much better if they just didn’t mess with stuff and released a fresh.
The bonus exp was so ridiculous.
After the token in wotlk it is clear that current blizzard teams cannot be trusted with changes, it is best to close that slippery slope in era / seasons. Or else in a couple years it will be wotlk/retail and we will be back on pservers.
But world buffs and boosting are more like retail than WoW was in 2004
Guilds having to plan logistics to get WBs is a pretty big part of classic raiding. Also pve try hards getting their wb greifed is one of the best part of classic.
Boosting idc about, but I rather have mages boosting players than bonus exp buffs.
Then why did the vast majority of raiders not utilize WBs back in the day? Because that sort of ultra min maxxing BS is part of modern gaming culture - the kind that ruins Vanilla.
If you are interested in trivializing the content to the umpteenth degree by stacking bonuses in your favor - retail is your game, not classic

There are plenty of raid groups that don’t care about WB… most of my raids in classic I didn’t use WB and they were not required.
You have the option to use them or not. With or without most of the content is really easy, the best parts of classic have nothing to do with raid difficulty.

Yeah those are the guilds I am referring to. Because they can actually pull those players to them. But guess what? They didn’t even have access to the weapons until bwl opened, and it’s not possible to have all of your raid roster get r14 at the same time.
So those guilds had mostly rank 14 melee by the time aq was running. Which doesn’t even matter because it’s aq anyways
How many exactly? Because there’s a common running theme that people see a guild with 2 r14 warrior and somehow “the entire roster” has rank 14 weapons
I think most if not all the warrior - the back up tank had r14 weapons but was using anihilator instead. I don’t exactly know how many though - it was the guild Blade of Kill, there’s footage around.
So a couple tanks. That’s optimal. But as far as I’m aware, OCE died almost instantly on som
They should have released the 58 pvp blues rank 12/13 epics and no rank 14 weapons for the first few phases of SOM. Release the weapons during BWL or right after that way all the pve tryhards don’t burn themselves out of bgs right at the start and then everything dies at AQ.
I’m talking about 2019 classic
I think like 5+ warrs were r14
2019 classic messed it up even harder with no honor during p1
