What are the decent rewards for EBGs … ?
but rbgs doesnt allow more than 10 epic randoms allow up to 40
you could agree that blizzard should do something for big groups in pvp like game mod or some activity in wpvp
instead you just cry about exploiting and against the rules by that you mean premades should be restricted and banned instead of searching a solution that will satisfy both sides
so yeah you kind of mean that the game should focus on the solo players and drop the premades and the big groups to the trash
honor and conquest with both you can buy gear the boxes with recipts and crafting mats honor marks for transmogs and consumables
Don’t EBGs only give like 48 conquest per win after the first daily one? Surely there’s better conq farms like crates.
Did you know that you and a group of 14 other players could have some pretty epic fights with even better loot by … raiding?

I have agreed that there should be premade vs premade. But I also know that it wouldn’t do anything because those already exists. And if you gave one with reward people would just abuse it like they already do.

If premades are such a huge problem that it makes the game unplayable, that would imply that an excessive number of BGs are filled by premades. If all those premades left the system, queues would never pop. You’d be sitting in the queue forever. Maybe what needs to happen isn’t getting rid of premades who are carrying the random BG system, but making random BGs more relevant for everyone else. Maybe like… Not having crates be the best way to gear. Maybe not allowing people to share honor across warbands. Maybe not making every activity more efficient than random BGs and leaving random BGs cumbersome and annoying.
no one has really mentioned this but the other advantage of premades is they make 30k or more gold each person a night selling blood stones. it’s one of the most profitable gph out there atm. ya, blizzard is letting them farm pugs for monetary gain, how fun!
I really think Blizzard doesn’t have a better option. I think random BG can’t exist without them.
There’s not enough people doing it. There’s too much faction imbalance, not enough players and systems that discourage people from doing the pvp activity that one used to be forced to do in order to gear.

There’s been at least one, maybe two or three, premade people in here saying the whole point is to force out solo players. Get rid of premades, solo players will start to queue again

They won’t.
The reason it seems like premades are such a big epidemic right now (despite “killer” being the rarest player type) is that regular people aren’t doing it. What changed most recently is warbands. People don’t have to do it and those of us who enjoy the chaos of jumping into a random with no plan or coordination are rarer than the premade crowd. Which is why we have to wait around in an almost full group until a premade comes along to let us play with them.

None of what you’re saying is what I’ve personally experienced in the past two months. My EBG queues never take that long, and there’s always new faces in the matches.

I don’t want to try to dispute your lived experience but there doesn’t seem to be a logical explanation for “Premades make the game unplayable” besides the possibility that Premades are the only thing keeping the system functioning.

I have no idea how premades affect the functionality of the game mode.
New players queue into EBG, realize premade groups have ruined the game mode, and they stop queueing/queue less

I don’t want premaders to be removed from the pool of players, just that the system makes it near impossible to premade.
Why would we want to remove 1000+ players from the pool?
If premaders quit PVP because the system change then we’ll know what they were made of.

Let’s say hypothetically, that every match is a team of randoms vs a team of premades. That means they can’t make a match until the premade shows up.
Let’s say 50% is that… That means half of all matchups wouldnt happen without the premade.
Let’s say it’s 15%. That doesn’t make the game unplayable, but making the queue 15% longer would be miserable.
So either they make the game unplayable and they are the only thing keeping the mode alive, or they don’t make the game unplayable.
There aren’t that many new players. More like returning players. WoW is not attractive to younger generations. It’s our generations “bowling league”. And premades have been around for the history of the game. We didn’t suddenly get fed up en masse.
What is actually different is that random BGs are one of the worst ways to gear a new toon. There’s very little incentive. There are lots of other options.

I feel like you have to make so many assumptions in there.
I can queue up right now for an EBG, wait 8-10 minutes for it to pop, and I’ll be on a team of randoms facing other randoms.
Premades have to schedule. Meaning they just take over the game mode at certain times for certain lengths of time. If I queue into a match against a premade, and I’m not in the mood, I just log off and wait a bit.
Comp stomp is the best way to gear a toon. I geared every class in EBGs. It didn’t feel like much of a slog to me
Absolutely we would and absolutely they would.
Premades are not made up of the best PvPers. Random BGs are the bottom of the barrel of PvP. It has crap rewards and zero prestige. You can’t even get cosmetics from it and you don’t need to do it to gear. You’re better off flying around the dragon isles and looking for unattended crates.
Premades are fun for the premade crowd because it’s premade. Real random enjoyers are niche. Without the rewards it’s dead content.
There’s literally plenty of rewards you can get from EBGs.
Marks of honor for cosmetics or toys, honor for recipes, honor and conquest for gear sets, achievements, honor ranks.
