Solution to the consorship

Ok but why was “I like to fart in the tub” part of this? What am I missing?

Blizzard wants to search for appropriate content, or seeks to cover its image by eliminating everything that was in the past.

Patethics, something that he could never eliminate was the creativity of the pirate servers, I am not saying that I come to support them, I am saying from the shadows of controversy and censorship, we will always see a pirate server especially about an invasion of WotLK servers with Alex Afrasiabi in Stormwind.

something that only does the only thing that will be forgotten and never think that these stupid devs have been more interested in making appropriate content through censorship, while their games declined due to lack of ideas and creativity to make an entertaining video game system.

Would be nice, and they would make a better product again.

Just like how the creators of Mortal Kombat stopped making female characters wear revealing outfits, because it was “disrespectful to women” - in a game series where you can burn them alive, knock them into spiked pits, rip out their organs, and even literally send their heads exploding out their posteriors.

That’s all totally okay, but having them show their midriffs, their thighs, their toes, or part of their chests is somehow disrespectful.

The fact that this is possible, so you already have the option to turn off what makes you unhappy without impacting what makes others happy, is what REALLY makes their decisions even worse. You can even turn off emote SOUNDS! So you can leave the emotes if you still want to see who’s flirting, but can shut off the sound if my FLIRT being SUGGESTIVE (a flirt? suggestive? whoa!) makes you uncomfortable.

or, OR they can make the mature language filter, a mature content filter! everybody wins! oh wait… that’s… basically what your suggesting OP… well, i agree with the idea!

not necessarily, my problem is that they do it without any respect for the players and the game, I think it is good that they want to renew themselves, but the forms annoy me. They use the easy and stupid way, they could perfectly let the Jailer win and rebuild/restructure everything they don’t like with the snap of the Jailer’s fingers in a canon/history way, but nooooo, they have to be interventionists.

I do, one of the best WoW competitions is WoW itself managed by other hands, in view of Blizzard’s inability to take risks, private servers go and do the craziest things you can’t imagine, things that leave the classic + thing that blizzard wants to put as a lazy attempt to make money, in fact, that mecanics was already done by private servers before Blizzard even released classic.

The private servers forced Blizzard’s hand to release WoW classic, it will be the private servers that force their hand again.

The employees job is to do what the company tells them to do.

And every company wants money, and the money is in the customer, so …

Do you have any idea how much money the company is losing to the exodus of dissatisfied customers?

I don’t subscribe to the “customer is always right,” most of the time the customer is a petulant little douche. This thread is evidence.

True, but it doesn’t change the fact that if you don’t satisfy it, the money goes elsewhere. :man_shrugging:

I find the personal attitude of Blizzard and Devs (especially Ion) throughout Shadowlands more petulant than that of the clients right now.

You mean, you don’t feel punished “yet”…
Pretty much how it goes for the short sighted. “oh the oil pipeline construction being halted doesn’t affect me, I don’t work there”.

months later “omg why are gas prices so expensive?” “Why is gas so scarce? I can’t drive to woooork?”

the removal of emotes doesn’t bother you, the removal of npc’s and npc names doesn’t bother you. The renaming of in game items doesn’t bother you…
What does? I assure you, it’s coming for you next.

I would support this if it is indeed a toggleable thing.

How did these rarely used emotes and rarely seen NPCs that have been removed or changed affect Blizzard employees? Also, the game should be made first and foremost with the players in mind.

We don’t know. We can only theorize. But that’s not for us to know. It’s their decision.

And they absolutely looked at marketing research prior to deciding on this new direction and these changes. It is what it is. It’s the game they want to make, not us.

Good Lord. I cannot believe we are living in this era of fragility. Are we made of tissue paper?

There’s no one with common sense in that facility. They just wanna dictate and control what we play because their vision is better etc etc.

And it’s kind of a lame decision.

You think so? These changes seem kind of like a knee jerk reaction to the lawsuits.

Ultimately this is true. If people are so unhappy they should speak with their wallet and quit. However stupid I think these changes are, it’s not a big deal to me. I’m still planning on playing.

No need for a solution to censorship because it’s not censorship. Blizzard are making changes willingly to their own game, and you are free to choose whether to continue to participate or not. That is definitionally opposite to censorship.

Censorship is the suppression of words, images, or ideas that are “offensive,”. Blizzard is free to CENSOR their game.
