I am actually enjoying arena for the first time in my life, because I can just queue up and play.
After each soloQ game, I check to see if any RBG groups are going, and there never are any that will either take me, or are the right rating. What a crap experience that is.
Solo Q RBGs is the name of the game. Every group is basically 1-3-6 anyway, just make it happen.
rat league isnt arena, first off. secondly, the reason youre not seeing the groups is because no one wants to do the lfg thing anymore, but rat league isnt the answer.
as an accelerationist, i hope they do remove 2’s, 3’s, and RBG and replace it all with expanded rat leagues to drive the rest of the players that exclusively pvp far away from the game.

I exclusively PVP and have always hated rated…until soloQ.

I really want solo Q RBGs because it would be a great way to earn conquest and play in games with people who are at a similar skill level.
I do agree solo shuffle is fun but it works for 3s because it’s first kill wins. Not sure how they would work this for Bgs. You can’t really do a first kill wins in a 10 man bg map.

The problem i see with soloq rbgs is that theres no way to implement the fair shuffling aspect of solo shuffle without making the rbg match last hours
I think 10 man is too much as well, reduced map size with 6 people on each team would be easier to fill and end with less chances of someone afking and ending the game for everyone
Tank balance is horrid and the games would need to either not have a tank or only pair tanks of the same spec together. Otherwise the side with the guardian druid is at a significant advantage just from rng
Same with healer balance and dps. Would need to make it so that one side can’t have multiple of the same specs, otherwise rnging 2 mw monks on one side while the enemy has all spriests dps is straight unfair
Soloshuffle eliminates the rng part of soloq which is cool, but theres no way to do that with rbgs, so it’d effectively be random bgs except people malding exponentially more at losing
I’d like 6v6 soloq rbgs a lot, but imo would need match pairing algorithm which theres no way blizz would ever put the effort into making
Said it much better than I. And the queues I can’t even imagine. Sometime for arena it’s 25-30 minutes for just 6 people total. Never mind what it would be for 20 people.

Also soloshuffle with only 6 people still results in some players leaving the game before it’s over, imagine how many solorbgs would end because 1 of the 20 people afks after first cap lol
Maybe a warsong/twin peaks mode where first cap wins and team are shuffled after the cap would be neat, but again massive time commitment
You people have played other ranked games before, or even heard of them? Overwatch is one made by Blizzard that has ranked solo q (or any number for that matter). You queue for ranked, you play the game.
You don’t need to go through the matrix math and play hundreds of games lol. You just play.
It would actually take less time if we agree that healers are the bottleneck. There are less healers as a percentage of the total in a 1-3-6 BG vs 3’s. They could even try 1 or 2 healer BGs to make them even faster…
