It’s almost not even worth doing now, it takes so long, regardless of ppl who rage quit.
That’s a three issue convergence. One, DPS already have naturally terrible queue times. Two, the balance this season gives people endless CC chains and catastrophic spike damage so PVP healing is basically not possible for most people. Three, they kicked tanks out last minute.
I exclusively bought DF because of how impressed I was with tank queue. It is a total game changer and makes WoW into a modern feature competitive service. I do still like DF in general, but I see that as the one thing they really dropped the ball on.
I just want to get my 1800 real quick for tmog but having quitters when you 3-1 just is upsetting when it takes 20 minutes minimum to get a q.

I don’t even care about rating, I just want to get my conquest and great vault rewards, but damn, my last queue was 32 mins. IDK how this will be fruitful, or sustainable.
Thanks for the updates! You guys are doing a great job. My one concern is with this:
Rating calculated per round in games with leavers.
Sometimes when there’s a massive disparity in skill, you might get matched up with a person who isn’t playing well the first three rounds.
This is especially true when the skill gap is between the healers.
Sometimes I’ll be 0-3 before switching to the other healers side and then go 3-3.
If someone left three games in this would feel pretty bad. This happens more often than you would think.
Not sure if there’s a way around this without it being abusable, but I do have concerns with this change.

Please allow 3v3 DPS ques in rated solo shuffle. This would eliminate the need to have 1 healer and 2 dps, and would bring que times down to 1-2 minutes.

So, Today Sunday Dec. 18th
On my main healer I had 1527 cr. I played 5 games of SS.
Game 1, I won 3/6 rounds and lost 156 rating. (Didn’t really think much of it, was first game of the day so I just thought it was dropping rating to match mmr better whatever…
Game 2, I won 5/6 rounds and Gained 0 rating. (Got a little triggered bc i was qued in 1400 bracket but there was one DPS with 0cr and one only 2 rounds and gained 576 rating.
Game 3, Played 1 round, The other healer got one shot by The Hunt and quit. 0 rating…
Game 4, won 4/6 rounds, Gained 0 rating. (Now im getting pissed cause im trying to push some rating before reset.
Game 5, won 4/6 rounds, Gained 0 rating… (Last game as of typing this, and I just cant see the point to play another game…
5 games of SS and lost 156 rating… no gains just loss…
How does this rating system even work…
Day 1 I was winning 3/6 and at least gaining 10/30 rating. but now im winning 4 or 5 rounds and gaining 0…
I played 2 Solo Shuffle matches tonight and here’s how it went
First match, I lost 1-5 and lost 50 rating (no leavers). I think that’s fair.
Next game, I won 6-0 and got 0 rating. How is that even possible to win every single round and get nothing at the end of the match? To add, everyone in the team had 1800+ rating except the resto shaman that had 0 rating. Blizz says they want to incentivize more healers to queue but no healers will continue queuing if they get no rating whenever they win a match.

This is the kind of stuff that’s really, really frustrating people.
According to the “algorithm”, you got no CR because the healer you faced had no CR. Yet this makes no sense because you still managed to win every round even with DPS swapping around, so you deserve to be rewarded.
Healing solo shuffle is a miserable experience. I only heal in games these days, I refuse to take part in this. The dampening debuff ticks entirely too fast, and dps can kill other players in a matter of .5 seconds. And then you get blamed for that dps dying. sure you’ll win 2/6 almost guaranteed but dear god is it an awful experience i wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. ADD TANKS BACK, lower TTK by like 20% at the very least. The time to kill being insanely short is whats causing your healers to avoid this crap like the plauge.
This isn’t a skill gap like 3’s this is a who can last the longest vs dampening

How about give rating past 3 rounds won? Im queueing in the 1600 bracket and unless I win 6 rounds I get 0 rating. How does this make me want to queue as a healer?
Yes! I feel you. I played 3 games today at 1600 bracket and I won 4 rounds on every game and got 0 rating. Then joined a game where I only won 1 round and lost 60 points. I’m not queueing solo shuffle until they fix this
