I just want to thank blizz for finally giving us what the vast majority wanted. I can finally play in arenas without having to wade through the toxic, pretentious cesspool that LFG is. Big step in the right direction regarding all things with this expansion!
No more is gear locked behind rating! Again a big win! Locked gear literally was making the game pointless to play if you have a day job or a family. This is an absolute win. People have to compete on relatively equal footing and it’s hilarious to see some of the folks who thought they were special complain about not being able to decimate everyone.
Also this dealt a huge blow to the boosting community as well. I can’t applaud this enough, literally saved the integrity of the game and got rid of the back-door pay to win nonsense.
The people voted with their wallets and you did listen! Keep this up and you can have my money for years to come!

Hmm, so far I’m experiencing more toxicity in RSS than I did in Halo 2 lobbies. Actually shocked at some of the things people are willing to type into chat and send lol
The gear changes have been fantastic, but have nothing to do with RSS.
RSS also really hurt the regular arena brackets. Ratings are deflated compared to normal and the amount of people playing them is at a low. Everyone just sticking to RSS.

Yeah because people Despise the old 3v3 thats ran by RMT Mafia BOOSTERS. The player base could not flee fast enough from their Toxic vile RMT boosters paradise, aka rated 3v3.
Playerbase HATES the old arena brackets, sick of being forced into it, and its full of RMT cheaters.

I enjoy the randomness of RSS. It replicates small scale fights that you get all the time in BGs in an Arena setting. It really does produce the best of both worlds and as someone that has hated arena since its inception purely because i understood the lopsided nature of WoW PvP… RSS does seem to actually be, surprisingly, fun.

yes really good game mode but really bad balancing, que times but the worse is the cr. You win 4/6 rounds get 12 points You lose 2/6 -63 points some games are just unwinnable class match ups no matter the cr unless they are extremly bad players

Solo Shuffle is awesome! But how to make it more awesome? How about by avoiding the RMT Boosting groups selling ratings? 2 simple things, I went from stuck 1200 for a month to 1700 in 2 days. Here is the link explaining how.

cannot stay alive, i just leave, make it a fun game not a 1 shot mongo fotm game. i just lost 150 and i do not care, its not even fun playing now. and all other brackets are dead so. unless they tune is this may be my first and last ssn

Yes, we now see XnarutodarkX the elite Demon Hunter backpedaling while trash talking people in bgs telling everyone how amazing he is, or Duelist Arthasxd doing the w/s key moves while getting ready to Decree a group of horde but die before he gets it off and tell healers they suck.
Solo Shuffle has done amazing things for the game.

Boosters are really not that big of a problem. Especially with the removal of gear upgrading with rating.
This is a troupe to justify you being garbage at the game.

Had a DH in a random BG a couple days ago when I was gearing my 2nd Shaman proudly wearing his first ever Rival title caps lock raging that no one was pocket healing him as he continually rezzed and ran face first 1v4 into enemy players and dying. Afterwards he started insulting everyone for ‘not knowing how to play the game,’ only to have 9 people gang up on him and laugh at his 40% WL in 2’s and 3’s while everyone else was just chill gearing alts.
The only upside to RSS is how no one respects anyone for their rating in it and how mad they get because of it.
This is the biggest problem. I hate RSS. And it’s made my arena experience miserable.

I keep reading this comment bashing RSS ratings or saying somehow people are playing above their ratings. Look, if someone gets rival, duelist or crimson soloist its because they earned that rating. As a matter of fact I would say the rating earned in RSS is more representative of people’s actually skill level and rating then regular 3s. You know why? Because everyone is solo and there is no stacking teams. It’s as fair as you can get.
fun for dps, awful for healers
zero incentive for healers to play. i guess thats why they make up less than 19% of 2400+ RSS
This isnt the fault of RSS, it simply revealed just how propped up at the bottom standard 3s was with players that didn’t actually want to do it, given tbe choice.
