Solo shuffle rating question

Oh yeah, they’d have to be careful about going over 3 wins so their rating doesn’t go up.

Even then that’d be a gamble at 1400. Healer or dps just randomly dies and then you’re 4-1 or something. Think fast healer queues is bis because you can 3-3 a lot of lobbies it feels like. I’ve only done like 40 holy games though.

A lot of 3-3 lobbies.

:sob:

37 rounds played.

If you keep winning, you’re going to push up pretty quickly. I did a small test on my alt hunter. Hit 2400 in 25 matches. Could have done it even quick had I not had a couple of 1-5 matches in there. I’m sure some of the top players could probably hit 3k+ in less then 25 matches played.

MMR is a little busted. It’s heavily weighted on your placement matches. If you pull some good queues right off, you could push up much higher then you might normally be able to. The opposite is true as well. If you a bunch of hard counters to start, you’re going to have to play a lot more to find your proper ‘starting’ MMR range.

I’dsay you’re right, still though, a glad frost mage is gonna be better at fire than most regular fire mage mains. My point is, im seeing quite a few of glads at 13/1400.

There’s just virtually no influx of new players in PvP, its that simple. People who still cling to it have played it forever so yeah even 1500 games feel tryhard.

It is what it is.

Just an update, i got up to just under 1700 as resto, and instead of stopping when i got tired, i played on and droped back down to 1400s quick fast…sad times. The following day i switched over to enhancement which i have far more experience playing, and after 24 games ( 4 rounds ) I got up to mid 1800s, got my rival title, and my 1800 pvp set, played one more round and dropped under 1800. So yeah if you can get some solid wins early you can climb a lot quicker.

Gratz!
And yeah, early wins are highly conducive to climbing. I have an alt druid at like 3335 with a 68% winrate or something in around 150 games.
The big winrate early is huge. Controversely, i have another druid at 3531 that started out like 7-5 or something (3-3 and a 4-2 to a healer and a dps going 0-6 and getting gapped). But then i got some 6-0s and 5-1s and mmr increased basically just as fast. If you play consistently well, you’ll climb without issue.

Bro same I’ll get to 1600 and those games I’m just stuck in a CC chain for 20 seconds. And I just get flamed even after LOSing, using CDs, everything. I want 1800 for the mog shoulders but 1600 feels like a 2k rated game lol

with my warlock it felt great… in only 5 queues i got from 0 to 1580, and then 3 queues later i got to 1759, then 1795… got down to 1750… 1759… and then 1800
not gonna lie, queues takes forever… so i’m a big fan of geting a lot of cr from winning.
