Solo shuffle problems

hello, reason im posting this is to express my frustration with the solo shuffle matchmaking. I JUST came back to the game to jump back into the arena and have some fun but the exact opposite happened. My arena experience isn’t top tier, but i do hit over 2k easily every season i play. So i played my bgs, and my skirmishes and grabbed a few crafted pieces and loaded up with a pvp set to join arena and start farming my conq. Thinking it was going to be like it always is and match me against other low rated players, i was instead pitted in a 2.1k mmr bracket against guys damn near one shotting me. i logged right off… and now i honestly don’t know if ill ever play wow untill they fix this. I literally couldn’t win 1 match…

So, there’s MMR rolling over between seasons (MMR is matchmaking data) and then gradual weekly inflation that pushes everybody up, and I see you’re in mostly Forged gear.

s1 Conquest gear is going to be 26 ilev lower than s2 Honor gear, as I recall, so yeah, you’re just gonna kind of explode. I’m actually surprised you can queue.

The solution is to either transfer/grind honor to buy 665 gear, which is enough to get started, or just join a crate group which involves flying between zones for a few hours to earn enough conquest to get tier, weapon, etc.

Choice is yours.

I’d recommend crates + netflix. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I geared my hpala. i just switched my char so you can see lol. i haven’t played my warr yet. but i grinded all i could and now im bottlenecked

Ohhh, I see. Okay, if you’re healer its different because you can usually find some dps to do some intial games with. A few 2s or 3s into crate groups would be nice, I think.

Because being down on gear at this stage esp if you haven’t played esp as healer is brutal, and shuffle is bad for gearing.
