I agree with this and really hope it happens
It could, but it could also have the opposite effect eventually. Being able to que up for low-stakes 3v3 games that actually gave a solid reward could help push a lot of people into the ladder once they had some arena experience and gear without the pressure that comes with just hopping into rated games.
Especially if they’re going to insist on keeping rating-gated gear, this game mode interaction could let people get baseline conquest gear while earning arena experience before they hop into rated games to start trying for rank to upgrade pieces.
