Solo queue "RATED" Battlegrounds

I’m currently having a blast with solo shuffle, hoping we get a solo queue in battlegrounds as well and a MMR pls.

ATM solo shuffle is fun. but it kinda gets boring with boring reward, no rank as well. basically it’s just a waste of time.

I know in the future maybe they will add a rating for solo shuffle. I just really hope we get Solo queue rated Battle grounds as well. I think alot of us are having fun in Battlegrounds but the problem is it really is hard to find premade group to do RATED BG. WHAT IF Blizzard made a ranked Solo queue version of BG?

Would only work if they automatically gave you a bear druid every time.

Solo queue rated bgs would still be a pug, which means they’re more likely to fall apart and be harder to coordinate.

If it brought more people back to the game it would still be a positive.

not really, theres alot of difference finding group in LFG and “clicking find match” in the game. I think thats the main purpose for it.

so for people like got no experience at rank bg can still play the game with 0 MMR vs 0 MMR.

unlike now, people asks achievements etc etc and takes like 30 mins to form

No no you don’t understand. There needs to be an unreasonable amount of resistance to solo queue RatedBGs, despite other more successful pvp games doing it, for no particular reason.

There already are solo queue rbgs. Just sign up for a yolo group with random people.

I mean you are right but it is still posible to fight unfair matches with pre-made 2k group. unlike with SOLO QUeue it will be fare 10(solos) vs 10(solos) and also like ive’d said above you can queue up instantly

Zero CR you mean?

But to answer the question about RATED solo que BGs, I don’t think this would work. UNLESS you make them 6v6. Let’s be honest 6v6 regular RBGs should probably already be on the list of things (who knows maybe it is) to put in the game. In a 10v10 game no having/having certain classes or stacking certain classes can shift a game. The tank aspect is a problem, because if one team has a bear then they have a massive advantage. Just to many factors in a 10v10 that can throw the balance even if everyone has the same MMR. Factor in gear etc etc. At first you may get people interest but I think that would shift. Solo shuffle is actually better than I expected (although the gear factor again) because it mixes the teams up. You can’t do that with BGs. Quite honesty just make RBGs 6v6 and things would improve. Still would be far from perfect though.

It still wouldn’t be fair though. Just because everyone is solo quing doesn’t make it fair.

I believe that was mentioned. The fact that the Yolo team you sign up for is doing a lookup on “Check PvP” to make sure you are up to THEIR standards, asking for your achievements, etc. It becomes a job interview only to be cut loose for some Gearzilla player with a better rating.

as it stands solo queue shuffle isnt rated and is pointless to do its just another arena skirmish.i would like a rated solo shuffle then it would be worth queuing for but it mite not happen the mode isnt that popular which is blizzards fault.

if solo queue shuffle would have launched rated it would the new hotness but its just another arena skirmish.

I don’t now what you’re talking about. I love the mode, there are tons of threads of people loving the mode, in the games people often say how much they love the mode.

I’ve heard more enjoyment about Solo Shuffle than I have about any PVP content in the past several expansions.

its no different then an arena skirmish and there are few healers queing for it while lots of dps are.

id like it to be rated it would give me a reason to queue it.

can I ask why it isn’t fair? remember in MOBA’s which is 5v5 it is also random and it is not fair either.

Solo queue is fun because every game has each own uniqueness, based on player personality, gameplay, classes and so on. and also you can “CARRY” a bunch of player and can feel your solo progression making you better and better each game.

Wow, that’s a novel concept, actually trying to improve while you grind :stuck_out_tongue:

If this was an actual mindset that all players had, BG chat would be dead silent most of the time!

P.S. I agree

yeah this owuld be sickkkk

It’s not fair because of class balance, gear, class synergy etc etc. Lots of factors.

It depends on player i guess, i do not know if your reply is sarcasm but I’m thinking it is. So here is my answer for that.

currently my highest peak in MOBA is top 9-13th in NA region rankings in solo rank, ofcourse I started low and this is my mindset climbing the ranks. so NOT all players has a mindset the thing you are saying…

Specially if it is already on high elo like let’s imagine it is 3k mmr in WoW, players there will be more focused and have a better mindset overall, Some is toxic I understand that but it is normal in every game.

so if you are low rank on other games and thinking every player is the same playing solo queue like that you are wrong.

Yes, Sarcasm.

From what I have seen, many many players are under geared and come fresh to BG’s with high expectations to get honor, conquest, and cool stuff. When they start losing, it becomes a whine-fest of who’s fault it is and everyone but them is stupid cause we all did it wrong.

Almost every losing game I have thrown your exact comment…“have some fun, kill some Horde and Learn how to fight better”. The responses are in the range of “what an idiot” “we only have one healer” “we should have gone docks, docks always win”.

I think someone else, maybe not in this thread, made a point that really resonated with me. “if it isn’t fun, why continue doing it?”. I feel lucky that while I hate losing, I always try to find a way to do a little better next time. I am an older guy, and I have learned that nothing comes free.

My sarcasm, about the attitude, is really pointing fun at all of the folks that come in unprepared and are met with the cold reality that they are not going to be carried to victory.
