Solo Progression Makes Sense

Yeah, no.

If you want to do the hardest content in the game, you’ll have to group up with people to get the strongest rewards. End of story, no excuses.

And you are already 200 shammy, what’s the hold up on the solo progression, low key entry, or was it finding a raid guild…lord i’m even losing track now.

True, and if patrons started demanding something like that which has never been a part of that business model they would be laughed out of the room.

And I agree that real world isn’t always the best analogies when discussing video games, but since restaurants and bus segregation was brought up, I chose to go with the one that made at least some form of sense.

“Sir, this is a Wendy’s.”

Most definitely fair kind sir

exactly why its a garbage analogy. because it only makes sense if the game has no solo content and is purely mutliplayer. there is solo content. its quests. and people want it to be more fleshed out. it dumbs down this debate to a cartoonish degree.

It didnt stop. The continuation is doing the game on group. And that is what this game is meant for. To be played on groups.

I am sorry. To me, it’s like you are on a wrong game. Not my money, so have it your way. Dont expect a solo content. Torghast btw, can be done on a group.

So you admit it is there?

this is the problem. either they accomodate solo players or make a solo game similar to wow. and not in the diablo way people claim is a legit alternative because it has loot farming. no game is good in the same way as wow to me. theres games with similar mechanics sure but nothing really comparable to it.

yes and it should be better.

My, you have low standards.

Right now it’s waiting for 9.1 #timegating. I may level a group content alt if I get bored. Or just play overwatch or something else. I was planning to start soloing Mythic ToS or more but it seems I have to wait more for whatever reason. I could maybe pug some raids. If I want to start transmog hunting but I am sure people will ask for loot and stuff. Right now I am thinking of just leveling alts and running lfr for transmog as well as the other sets. I just am sick of anima. And the ilvl rewards have stopped on my shaman unless I do group content.

Waiting for 9.3 sounds like the best move if we are talking about time investment. That’s going to take another 20ish months by this rate.

Another good point.

I could care less about mount collecting so I’ll miss out on all those rare mounts that others are getting. I don’t care about pet battles so no progression goodies for all those pets I have. I don’t mythic raid nor do mythic plus so…well, you get the idea. The game has always been about getting what you put into it.

and you can complete 95% of the game solo.

level’ing, old expac, covenant campaign and all their related activities…

it’s just the M+, organized PvP and raid that you cant complete alone.

But why tho? Having trouble at this point with what your argument even is here?

whether or not you like it is besides the point. theres an untapped audience here. if there wasnt there wouldnt be so many threads arguing about it.

I think it’s cute that you think they care about their audience.

If you’re not a whale, they really don’t care.

And that sir, is what I like about it. Too bad others don’t comprehend that. I’m aware I could do more if I chose too, but by choosing not to do so, I certainly won’t deny others deserve reward for their efforts. I don’t chase mounts anymore, got the ones I wanted, couldn’t care less bout the rest. Don’t care about mogs, have enough.
