raids are not solo progression…keep going, you are becoming interesting…sort of.
How new are you to this game? Lol soloing old raids is solo progression. Transmog farming/mount farming and gold making.
maybe because diablo is wows core mechanics stripped to its most basic levels of killing monsters and taking their stuff. warcraft unlike diablo has depth. i play diablo. i love it. i play this game because its diablo with a better story/world and gameplay more complex then kill monster get thing.
You don’t need to get into groups, that’s the beauty of it!! Each and every single player can start their own!
you were referring to solo’ing old raids? how much ilevel do you need to get into a guild that runs legacy raids? How new are you?
this is like arguing the game shouldnt have pvp because you dont like it therefore it would ruin the game because people can enjoy the game in another way then you.
If you do it with a group member legacy loot mode doesn’t work. Therefore you are subject to more rng and less loot.
But we agree then, there is solo progression…you just stated one. So, what’s the argument again? You need ilevel to get into lower keys, raid guilds, and to solo oldies?
Group member? But that isn’t solo. Contradictions are a thing with you I see.
why does anyone care if the game has solo content. like honestly if you arent gonna play the solo content then what do you lose?
That would help out others to branch into other content. Like how people who spam heroics and mythic plus can stomp on people in battlegrounds? Because lol I pve so I am the best! (Arbitrary loot rewards).
If I was interested in group content I would probably be focused on grinding raider.io But the ilvl should in theory allow for more players to feel comfortable to pug stuff. As I have noticed since wotlk more people are willing to queue and tank for stuff they vastly overgear for example.
And you wont accomplish much when you play WoW on solo. You cant go to any dungeons as solo.
You want to go to old content. But that’s not what it is designed for. You are playing Shadowlands becoz you want to solo raid from Cataclysm?
Anyone who doesnt follow a particular path loses nothing. Goes for all. I don’t mythic raid. I don’t get mythic raid gear. I don’t solo something? I don’t get that mog or we ppl go for. I’m quite ok with that, in fact, have never stated otherwise. So I’m rather unsure how this is even a debate. I do the content I choose to do, so I can do the content I want to do.
If you are uncomfortable pugging at over 200 ilevel without ever having done group content, I don’t know what to tell you. Most are doing more with less.
And the restaurant analogy once again rears its ugly head. Yes, French restaurants serve French food, Chinese places serve Chinese food and ice cream shops serve ice creams not burgers. I’ve read it all. But you know what makes this a ridiculous analogy every single time? At none of those types of places are there other customers standing outside crying and complaining that it was too easy for me to go in and get my plate of escargot, or won ton soup, or double scoop of rocky road etc.
Also none of those places I’m aware of require their customers to bring four to twenty four other friends with you, depending on what you want from the menu! The restaurant analogy seriously needs to stop. It’s asinine.
what does this have to do with anything im saying. i want them to add new content because as it stands the progression awkwardly stops partway through endgame.
I would need to grind raider.io to get into 15+ groups. Which I would only be interested for ilvl and the mythic season mount. Groups would probably expect more ilvl from me as well so that would mean doing more group stuff… I can do it I just don’t enjoy the game like that. The same way you can probably be an an extreme althete but choose not to.
its a great analogy for people arguing against solo endgame because it negates any arguments by simplifying it to a nonsensical strawman that makes zero sense if you acknowledge any actual nuance beyond “but the game have multiplayer”
Or simply push your own key?
This shaman sure brings up a lot of group activities that are somehow associated with bringing in more solo content…I’ll admit, a bit confused at his direction…
