I mean if your talking out RMT stuff that is already illegal in terms of the game and a bannable offense. If your talking about gold you really don’t have much to stand on as its just the economy of the game at this point…

I am for getting rid of it. It devalues the completion of the content to an extent, and worse, defeats the purpose of the group finder as sane people don’t want to pay for carries, they want to, you guessed it, Find a group to play the game with.
Really, this mess needs to be kept out of the game. Anyone can have a website these days, or even easier, a discord server. Both are perfectly viable places to discuss and offer such… “paid services”. Having it in the actual in-game group finder is extremely counter productive.

Selling services like boosts and carries within a game has always seemed sketchy to me. And on the broader perspective, what happens to the gold you pay someone to get you Ahead of the Curve, for example?
Assumedly they sell the gold for real money, or use it to buy tokens for another nefarious purpose. Maybe the gold is used to fund gnoll terrorist cells. I don’t know, I don’t particularly care about the specifics either. But no matter what they do with it, it seems like a really bad idea to pay anything just to access a function already existing within the game.
Maybe not to you. Do you genuinely believe everyone doing this is a moron mindlessly spamming away despite no results? Have you even entertained the notion that maybe people do it because, while it may seem absurd to you, people are continuously responding to those messages and they’re making a ton of gold off of it?
