See but it isn’t.

I want to start this topic to discuss soliciting in world of warcraft. Do you understand what it means? Does the incitement of a fake or made up economy, within a game which already has an economy, remind you of when similar instances happened in the real world?

Should we make this illegal - like it already is?

I’d love to get all this WTS heroic spam garbage out of trade. It’s worse than the gold sellers, literally people spamming every few minutes with the same nonsense.

At least the gold sellers did it periodically not every minute or two.

I don’t have a problem with carries, but the spam is bad.

I find carries useful because I can still get my aotc mount even though I haven’t been motivated to raid at all this expac. because of how garbage BfA has been.

I find the prices reasonable (If we’re talking gold) since gold is so much easier to make these days.

The carries I find annoying but it’s more the spam that’s the problem.

If the game was “life” and the stranger is offering to repair your car even though you could do so yourself, would you say yes?

If I could fix my own car for cheaper, I would not pay someone else to do it.

But playing WoW is a lot more enjoyable to me than fixing my car, so I don’t think that comparison tracks.

They should be hounding people on trade chat in this matter for 12hrs constantly saying “going now” ,“last chance tonight” it get ignoring . In a lot of ways they should remove trade chat because no one trades any more.

What if you could fix your own car for cheaper, but you could also build your own house for cheaper, and grow your own food for cheaper, and make your own clothing for cheaper…

eventually you wouldn’t have enough time. It’s basic economics

Still ignoring as hades. I go to sw and that is all i see in trade for hours,then they continue with another alt. If i did that selling flasks for hours I’ll get barred from chat so it is no different.

Right,I’ll get reported for either being a bot for that much flasks or being a jerk hogging the chat up. My server is just that bad.

Man, sounds like a weird server. My wife spent a few hours trying to sell a mount the other day, no silence lol
