most shaman tanks are just running dual wield with water shield at this point for the mana regen and it works fine.
Oh, and what kind of genius states, they focus balancing at 60? Why would you care about balancing a game that will not be out for another year? It’s a horrendous excuse or piss poor planning.

Maybe I should try a horde shaman for once just to see what If any changes will occur for when cata is rebooted.
of course ele is weak at 25, look at your talent tree.
31 in ele you get 100% crit damage bonus, 6 range and 2 second cast time lightning bolts with the same coefficient as shadowbolt that overloads 50% of the time.

they need unkillable totems, totem placement 40yrd range, instant ghostwolf that breaks snares/roots, thundershock, no charges on lightning/water/earth shields…

I’m not sure what you are referring towards? Cause in Classic/SoD, totems die in 1 hit and only spawn at your feet. Ghost Wolf has a 3 second cast, 1 second if specced. Shields all have 3 charges for 10 min and you only get Lightning shield outside of Runes. And no Thundershock

then play resto or tank theyre both extremely strong.

lots of sham tanks are going 11pts ele and getting 10% dmg reduction vs Fire Frost and Nature along the way too
I love how people come to classic. Disreguard the fact no caster in classic judt spams spells. Mages locks and priests have wands for this reason, shamans have mail armor 1hander and a shield.

funny part about shamanistic rage is i’ve heard people try to compare its mp5 to blessing of wisdom. add another shaman and another pally and how does it stack up now?

im literally the best shaman tank in sod right now. people “???” and then the next day they are copying me. Sometimes i use Way of Earth if someone really good is in the raid.
Are you making stuff up? I never said I don’t have the runes. He brought up the different shields and two of them are runes. I’m not choosing water shield over a DPS rune and I’m not choosing Earthen shield over Way of Earth (PvP) or Shamanistic Rage (Raids).
Rogue tank is the best tank buddy. They effectively have zero DPS loss and take less single target damage.
Why pick a Shaman Healer when you can have a single Priest heal BFD and dominate WSG?
Druids are far more effective FCs since they can break slows through shapeshift and sneak pass enemy lines.

ele was never viable pre 35+ in classic. they made an effort with 50% overload and lava burst.
