Alliance account for about 60% of population on all servers.

Honestly, it’s better balanced than I expected it to be.

To be fair blizz locked character creation. If that wasn’t the case I think it would’ve been super unbalanced

Those numbers are not accurate. It only counts unique names that are LOGGED in raids. It will multi-count one person running alts and won’t count casuals who don’t log. All it really shows is out of RAID LOGS, Alliance still makes up the majority of raid logs. Now add that to the majority of top logs being also Alliance…and the “balance” becomes less so. Those numbers do not represent the actual population breakdown of a server. What does represent populations though is that Alliance is capped on every big server while Horde is not pop capped anywhere…

Be interesting to see how the population shifts as the game progresses. New areas become the meta with different advantages per faction will shift popularity.

I think 25 cap with the stockades dungeon is a big factor for some alliance capped servers (and of course some streamers influence)

What lol, is this just future cope so you can deal with losing stv matches? No this is pretty close to accurate. The non raiding pop has a negligible impact on major plays and alts are equal across both factions for raiding guilds always with a slight alliance lean as they simply raid more and raiding alts are a small amount higher as a result.

Logging is lame

Yea man screw trying or always attempting to do better than you did before. I wanna show up, afk, do less damage then the tank and collect some loot baby. These try hards just ruining everything by playing well, it’s embarrassing really.

Never said to be bad at the game just never understood the reasoning for logs. Not logging and being bad at the game aren’t the same thing I know plenty of people who log and are really bad as well lol

To each their own tho I dont have a problem with it being in the game by any means

Yea, crusader strike is almost perfectly balanced. It’s been fun.

Logs allow you to see what you’ve done and improve as well as competing against everyone else. Being against logging is silly, if you enjoy improving it’s the best tool for it.

I agree. I tried reading them once after a heroic raid in retail and wasn’t smart enough so now I just have people look them over for me lmao. No issue with them or the people that use em just not my cup of tea lol

I mean this with all due respect. How is reading a log too hard for anyone?
I assume everyone has at minimum read some form of a chart at a job somewhere or went to a high school science class. What about it was confusing to you? As someone that makes small apps for fun I’m curious to what about the UI makes it hard to understand or interact with.

so then it was a good thing they did that

Phase 1 is pretty much perfect for paladins. They get a great weapon and have nearly their entire kit already.

People are already faction locked so I don’t know how much it changes, but horde racials become way more important in later phases when there are more stuns/fears.

Will be real interesting to see what specs start shining next phase. I’m really looking forward to Warrior, Druid, and Rogue.

No one is against logging.

They’re against parse culture in classic WoW because it’s faceroll braindead easy.

If you want to brag about parses, do it in retail.

Classic parsers are a joke.

Maybe it’s the site itself but I don’t use anything but wow analyzer any more it gives me everything I need to know in way easier to read/navigate way

You need to not include PvE servers in your figures as those servers do not have faction locks and have always been overwhelmingly alliance.

For pvp and RP PVP it’s 54% alliance

No dumb retail take and christ actually trying to actual pull a kids in africa. Stop.

Is Wild Growth clustered in the SoD BG battlegroup? That might be why queue times are so long alliance side even though Alliance is sad and soy.

Yes, I’ve played against Wild Growth players in WSG, I see them every now and then, although I see PvP and RPPvP servers more often.
