Sh*t my weak @ss is only benching 150 for reps currently after the past 5 months training.
What are you talking about this generation of players? Guarantee you that the majority players in SOD are 30 to 40 years old and definitely not playing Fortnite.
The best measurement for how you much you enjoy a hobby like playing a video game, is how effective you are in avoiding having to endure doing that hobby.
Not a fan of these threads. You could make your own group with your own rules and lead it your way, yet you’re too lazy so instead you’re going to complain about how other people are assembling their raid and you don’t meet the criteria for a free handout
Chill groups exist, but you’ll have to sift for them.
It’s like finding results on Google, the ones you’re looking for.
PuG-ing is a skill.
Gotta be good at finding those groups out there, or simply make your own.
How do loot locks work?
I know about Raid IDs and wish they would disappear too, even if it meant getting nothing for subsequent clears of the raid. I could help more people clear their 5/6 or 6/6 groups if I wasn’t saved, and find more people for groups I am in where someone has to go or whatever.
people literally predicted that when GDKP was banned, it would be nothing but super selective groups demanding parse logs, gear, etc. this is the bed you made better get some good parses for your resume
That’s clear
Indeed, which is why I followed it up with the most efficient way of playing SoD. It’s so much fun.
IMO these are not the culprits.
Dad guilds don’t operate like this.
It’s the Tesla driving retail tourists you’re thinking of.
Usually logs are enough, but even that is a lot to ask
people literally predicted that when GDKP was banned
Wow you mean the thing that existed prior to GDKPs still existed after it was gone?
lmao
Here’s a simple 3 step process to get into raids:
- Shower.
- Quit being an annoying whining wclogs andy and develop a personality.
- Use that new personality to join a guild and meet some new friends, enjoy raiding in your guild and celebrate each-others successes.
It’s quite literally that simple
There are tons of social guilds out there. Not sure what the problem is lol. I’m a lazy bastard myself. For this very reason i don’t usually form my own groups. So, i just joined a guild to have someone schedule raids for me.
Asking people to do the bare minimum is toxic?
Yeah if you’re not topping the charts, even if you raid, you don’t want to go back. I dealt with enough comparison irl in my former career. I can’t do it in a game for fun. Cleared gnomer twice but all the guild talks about are the parses and I’m sure I wasn’t at the top of the charts in healing. No one has said anything, but I’ll just quietly g quit in the middle of the night and wait for Phase 4. Nothing else to do since I’m exalted ab and wsg and rank 5 (in 2 days). And NO. I’m not starting a guild. Never mind, I had all consumes (and extras for ppl that forgot) and we didn’t wipe. 6/6 in gnomer but I don’t want the emotional rejection feeling so I won’t go back. No idea of what the numbers were but I’m sure I’ll never be at the top or even close to a healing parse. TBH, I have enough BIS IRL, I don’t need to have to feel competitive in a game. I don’t really see a future in raiding. Even casual guilds, someone posts the damage charts (of which they are at the top). I just don’t care enough. I just want the gear and get thru and not wipe. Maybe, I’ll pug later if P2 goes on forever. TBH, I rather skip the rest of gnomer and go on to P3.
you’re making up loot lock stories not once does this happen in retail
False. There is absolutely 0 luck involved. It’s opportunity . And the only way to increase your opportunity is too put forth bare-minimum effort and carry your own weight. In doing this, you’ll be surprised how in your words, “lucky” you become.
This isn’t limited to SoD.
This is modern gaming.
215 bench press? Better be for at least 20 reps
