We need an LFG system. A system maybe like what we had in classic tbc where you could post a group for people to join. Please give us something. Not having one is making people use addons.

I say, leave it out.
Use the lfg chat. Interact a little.
Have the summoner stones to be active queue points. once you get to the stone. You can queue for a dungeon then go about your business of questing. Also have it setup for multiple dungeons to be queue d at once.
So you travel to the dungeon entrance to queue.
The traveling in person will keep zones occupied when the next phase comes out. Where general chat you can still see or talk to people.
If you just lfg option. A lot of people will just sit at home city or not even bother interacting with others because you’re just a quick match up. That you will never see the again.

Finding a group on vanilla classic requires social skills. Maybe look to start improving yourself in that department first?

What we want is LFD.

Retail has the LFG system. If you look at why people say retail sucks because. You are just a number. Old zones don’t get used. Everyone just solos.
SoD is based on classic with minor differences.
Leave the LFG out. Run a little Adventure.
Retail players what to just stay in one spot and have everything handed to them.

Retail has RDF. LFG you still need to go to the place you still have to do all the cry baby things you want but it makes the forming of it easier and better. It seems like none of you know what you’re talking about.

There are addons that do this. There are others that simply parse and filter /4 for people advertising what you want.
RDF is toxic and detracts from the game.
A manual LFG system, that allows you to post groups for various purposes, would be very, very welcomed IMO. The moment it turns into a que-based matchmaker is the moment it steps over the line tho.
Yes there are. LFG group bulletin board, lfg, lfg classic, lfg sorter and so on. I guess people don’t look before talking like an adult

It was already easier on first character than first alt to find dungeon groups. Especially if you want to run WC on any class that might roll on the pants.
They already have a dungeon finder interface implemented in classic, it just isn’t turned on. Just turn it on, stop wasting our time.

LFG was a fix for server unbalancing. Now that they balanced them out of the gate with not allowing more people to create toons they dont need that feature anymore.
Last night I noticed some dialogue option on an innkeeper in I think Ashenvale which said “Tell me about dungeons…” and after clicking that there was an option to find a group for a dungeon, although I didn’t click it because pvp was starting.
A lot of lesser abled folks ITT confusing RFD with LFG. There would literally be zero cons with the LFG posting board.
/LookingForGroup is your best friend.
