Post on your sod instead of your garb wotlk toon. Keep your lfg and wow tokens to the inferior game modes.

LFG is pog and does allow socializing.

People definitely got RDF and LFG mixed up. LFG is just /4 but sorted into a readable UI. Players make groups with leaders and go to dungeons, all the normal stuff, just in a way that is structured without requiring add-ons.

I haven’t found this super necessary just yet but I think that it would be good to implement before or at the lvl40 patch. This will become a serious problem once people have entirely moved on from pushing their previs and leveling their preferred apts.

Being social is to spam trade chat for like an hour damn you guys got a life. To say max 10 mins most likely your a tank or healer. Dps is different story.

Using LFG chat is not interacting. People with this take are either trolling or don’t know what social interaction is.

Eh, I just use Bulletin board.

(But I do think they should add the manual LFG tool that is used for M+ in retail, or what they had in Classic wrath before adding in RDF.)

I think they might add one towards the tail end of SoD, once things slow down a lot.

If it’s supposed to be Classic+, or a beta version of it, they might fool around with systems such as this one.

You’ll still have to travel to the dungeon, just spamming in chat would no longer be needed to find a group, can just use the menus instead.

There’s already an addon that takes messages from chat and turns them into a bulletin board you can click on, this would basically be that.

Imo, this change won’t hurt the social aspect of things, so I think it’s fine to include this one. You’re still limited to your own realm for groups and whatnot.

After a while, you’ll start to recognize familiar names, and that’s a good thing in an MMO.
