Im actually hoping it does dramatically affect retail but it probably wont… i also wish that all pvp players would boycot the game till they make changes that make pvp feel good again… this season if you arent a dh or udk you just arent cared about

yes, it will kill pvp completely. arenas wont exist in about 2 years and healing mechanics will fully change. if wow 2.0 doesnt happen in the next 4 years the game will 100% die

It’ll certainly reduce the population for awhile, but it won’t kill anything.
No point in queueing until the last month of the season anyway.

SoD is capped at level 25(for awhile), so there will be plenty of time for both retail and SoD.
If you can queue DPS solo shuffle and level in SoD same time then you’re set for a good time in wow again.

Classic was a mistake. We could all be in the same client and enjoy the world in full with horizontal progression. Lame decisions, betraying the community and the future vision based in the game’s heritage for easy route,false nostalgia and change for its own sake, all while other games copied WoW and innovated to do better. The stubborness is frustrating at this point. How anti-thought do you have to be to split the playerbase like 7 times instead of carefully trying to improve their experience with more robust testing, feedback and communication?
