If you want a proper indicator, go online and look at how many AB games are going on.
There were more WSG in phase 1 and it wasn’t a one shot meta

No, it is not. You refuse to add up both wsg and AB because playerbase is split between the two now. And also, again, this forum isnt an indicator of the playerbase.

There are fewer people playing SoD right now overall. A ton of people stopped playing because of the damage in the game. I know a handful myself

This kills games with classes, healers, utility roles, every time. You end up with disproportionate DPS representation and no other role. This is actively happening in retail as we speak.
DPS queue takes hour +
Healer queue is instant. Healers left the game in droves and/or rerolled dps because the game was a hell scape to heal. Every global was life and death.
This is happening in SoD right now.
