Sod is really fun

I have been hugely critical of blizzard many many times in the past. There has been alot to be critical of. But the whining on the forums about SoD is almost entirely the exact 3 scenarios I laid out. That indicates salt. You have a salt problem, not a sugar problem.

Cata classic? Really? I played it heavily back in the day. But it feels like a totally different game at that point. Guess it’s just not for everybody.

Agreed! I love these incremental level caps which force everyone to slow down instead of just rushing to 60. It makes every level you gain and quest complete more meaningful.

Yeah. Class design and balance was really good, the raids were all really good sans Dragon Soul. I think Cata as a whole gets a lot of undue flak because of what a wet fart Dragon Soul was and how long it lasted

You were doing so well then you went and ruined it.

I’m a Warrior. Widely regarded by the FOTM parse chasing and minmax pvp crowd as a waste of a class.

Having a fantastic time playing the best class!

Just a guy having fun playing a game I pay for. I don’t even need to cheat to enjoy it!

Why are only rage posts acceptable?

lol this isn’t a troll post tho Glinda, just genuinely expressing that I’m having fun, while acknowledging things I’ve found acceptable that could be better (imo)

Well duh. I don’t make the laws of the universe, sorry.

Get Blizzard’s D out of your mouth. If you mean all this you say, good for you. Though I highly doubt the majority of people that have played SoD agree with you here.

… I’m enjoying my hunter/rogue duo I’ve got going on. :frowning:

I’m a broken record, but I can’t get past the Layers. I hate them with the red hot intensity of a thousand suns. They’re everything the Old Game wasn’t. They tear the world apart. They divide the community. They break any kind of creative content (like world pvp objectives) the devs try to put in the game. I could deal with the balance issues, the e-sport leaning raid encounters, and everything else. But sucking the life and soul out of the World? Creating an empty void where there’s actually a healthy playerbase? Not into that.

Blizzard’s insistence of Megaservers and Layers kills my enthusiasm every time I try to get back into it.

Man if you hate the game maybe you should get your money out of their wallet!

Yes layers bad. Layers very bad. Really think that if it’s technically viable, they should turn off layers for the low and medium pop servers. If players insist on running on FULL servers, go for it, but don’t apply the same solution to fix their stubbornness on my appropriately sized server.

Thats like your experience, OP is expressing they are enjoying the game.

I am also enjoying the game a lot.

You may be projecting because never said I ā€œ'hateā€ the game. You also assume I gave them my money.

You’re on the forums so yeah you give them money.

>I make a post saying I like the game

>You reply saying you don’t

>I say you hate the game, and somehow that’s projecting?

Do you know what projecting means?

yep season is quickly feeling like classic for me. empty cities population on servers already dropped by 60% and falling. Pretty soon we will see the same old vanilla 3000 total player base across the entire server.

Bursty, one-shot PvP is a literal death sentence of PvP. Always.

I like SoD but I just really want to be able to hit 60. I recognize that as a me problem though.

That’s my server pop right now and it’s perfect.
