So I have a few comments and some questions to go along with it:
You guys have chosen to restrict new players on SoD and such for their first 30 days and while I appreciate some sort of approach to the ridiculous bot problem, I do think you should try and minimize the harm by giving these players a small amount of gold so they can gear themselves basically and buy food and bags. Also the no email between chars on the same account if true is a bit silly.
That being said, if I come across any of these people impacted whom have no friends to receive help from, am I safe if I donate some of my unnecessary wealth or will my selfless deeds put my name on some list?

Yes, it’s never been an issue on if you wish to give someone gold. We only have an issue if you are selling the gold for real life money.
