SoD Phase 4 was released on July 11th
SoD Phase 4 MC was released on July 25th
on August 29th SoD Phase 5 PTR begins!!!
Cata classic was released May 20th
Cata Classic raids released May 30th
Blizz released ZA and ZG on July 30th ( NOT A REAL PHASE )
Blizz is expected to release PHASE 2 FIRELANDS in October so from May 30th to Sept 26 ( thats 18 weeks of P1 raiding )
week of 10/1 would be 19 weeks
Week of 10/8 would be 20 weeks
Week of 10/15 would be 21 weeks
Week of 10/22 would be 22 weeks
Week of 1029 would be 23 weeks
why does blizz think its ok to make cata wait this long between raid content but rush SoD to 6 weeks of raiding then giving them the next tier raid?
are these meme threads? t11 released june 3rd, if it comes out October 1st that literally means the tier was 4 months. What are people smoking on this forum?
SoD has more phases and lasts 1 year while Cata is a progression server that’ll eventually lead to MoP
SoD has/going to have these phases
1-25
25 - 40
40 - 50
50 - 60
60 - 60
Meanwhile Cataclysm only has 3 phases and is likely to also only last a year if not a little bit longer
BoT, BWD, TotFW
Firelands
Dragonsoul
We already know the timeline of Cataclysm
Phase 1 — May 20th: Baradin Hold, Blackwing Descent, The Bastion of Twilight, Throne of the Four Winds
Phase 2 — July 2024: Zul’Aman & Zul’Gurub remade as 5–man dungeons
Phase 3 — October 2024: Firelands
Phase 4 — January 2025: Dragon Soul
The timeline’s been settled there’s no changing it.
Not a fair comparison. Classic vanilla had the 2019 reboot, season of mastery, and hardcore so the numbers willing to go through those zones once again in SoD are limited. 2019 reboot vs what Cata is currently doing would be the better comparison.
If you are upset about T11… just wait until Firelands… 7 bosses… total… unless you want to count the legendary quest boss thing as one… then 8…
Odds are if you can kill Nef now on heroic it won’t take you to long to get to H-Rag. Then you just get to pound your face against Rag for the rest of the tier. At least for most people.
