Thanks, Mirasol. I did try Altesh’s suggestion, but I couldn’t even find the WTF file. Um, how do I run wow in windowed mode, if it’s not too much trouble?

What Warthinator said. Under the game options you should be able to set that parameter.

I’m not able to get past the Social Contract, so can’t interact with wow (afaik).

Do you use addons? You can safely delete the WTF folder if not. The game will reset all those files to default and download your keybinds from the server.

Also a good idea. Resetting the UI may get them back to defaults. If all else failed they could probably delete the Bnet cache. That should impact launcher settings

Okay everyone - fixed it. Seems I have a post for the same problem a while ago and a suggestion was to change from Landscape to Portrait. Did that and all set. THANK YOU so much for all your help and comments!

It pops up every so often. It has ‘zero’ to do with your actions. You can be squeaky clean and never violated anything once and it pops up. Its either random or a bug. Figures, right? A shoehorned reminder to play nice just like a kindergarden teacher regardless of your account history.

So you’re fine, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I went into the settings before launching the game.

  • changed it to full screen mode
  • changed the resolution to 2400+

I’m not sure. Is there a way to change scale in bnet settings or no? Check there that may fix it.

I think Nvidia and amd may have software for the game in settings too but unsure.

Better question…what are they adding to the ToS that enhances the original ToS?

I read it in the beginning, but now…nope. Why? Because the original ToS pretty much covered everything.

What are they adding that wasn’t in the original?

I think it’s a legitimate question.

The Social Contract does not add anything, it is a concise reminder of the ToS rules.

Interesting, because I could have sworn I read that it’s been changed and that’s why we’re resigning it.
