Hey, logged in, got the accept or exit Social Contract thing at the character select… I accepted this, months ago. I haven’t any issues with Blizzard or any punishments or infractions, why am I being asked to accept this again? Is this the same for everyone?
It will continue to pop up every so often. Seems almost at random.
It’s a reminder that pops up every once in a while randomly. Why is that a problem?
Have you met the average WoW player? The more reminders, the better.
This only happens when people have been being bad. They have their eye on you now OP.
On other apps and games, when ToS gets changed, even just a few works, usually you have to reagree to it. Or don’t I guess if you don’t want to play.
If you follow the rules then you have nothing to worry about. Accept and move on, not a big deal.
The only people I know in-game who’ve had this pop up for them more than once were people who’ve infringed upon the contract, or got reported I guess (for whatever reason).
Guess you’ve done or said something to someone in-game to warrant it.
This.
One of the silly games I play - every time they make any change to the ToS they log you completely out of the game. You have to log back in and renew your agreement.
I get it and I don’t do anything bad that I’m aware of.
I don’t get the little box pop up things or have been in any trouble that I’m aware of.
Looks like some people think they’ve done something wrong, it’s confusing users.
Would be fine to include a disclaimer that it’s just a reminder, and hasn’t been prompted by any other action.
Sometimes they might add an extra comma where one didn’t used to be. Any change requires everybody to review and accept the most up-to-date contract.
Eh, you never know what kind of nonsense reason one might report you for in-game.
You can be the sweetest angel to everyone and someone out there will still report you regardless.
Thanks for let me know before heading in was off a week due to cable problems. That could be the problem with the forum seeming to be buggy .
wanna know what id love if they by law had to have a contract or bill or TOS or EULA that was 1 page and had to be easy to understand and they couldnt make one that is how many pages. and this would be for everything.
It’s just a contract though. Like every other one we get emailed as a reminder, etc.
Usually those sorts of contracts have loopholes and are ambiguous since they’re so short.
They’re normally incredibly lengthy so as to avoid any of that.
I haven’t had it pop up in a while
Clearly OP is toxic and needs to be reminded
Or it just randomly pops up cuz this is blizzard
Except we do know when we haven’t been sanctioned. Because we weren’t sanctioned.
Well then I guess in these cases, the sanction is the social contract popup again.
I’ve only accepted this contract once, since it was introduced. And I never saw it again.
It wouldn’t just be randomly popping up again for random users, that doesn’t make any logical sense.
