I would say that the text of the Social Contract is more explicit than our overall In-Game Code of Conduct.
We recognize that the Internet is not always a safe haven. With that in mind, please note that the following behaviors are not accepted in Azeroth:
- Hate speech, including negative comments that target another player’s identity, including aspects like race, gender, or ability
- Harassment, threats, or abusive / derogatory language and behaviors
- Spamming, advertising, or other disruptive behaviors
- If you harm your fellow adventurers with any of the above behaviors, you are subject to punishment up to and including suspension of your account.
I don’t really agree that this is vague. To me it pretty clearly outlines behaviors that are considered unacceptable. But if you have feedback regarding this, you can provide it through the in-game feedback form which is a directed to the game teams.
- Using the in-game “Submit Feedback” option that is found on the Support menu.
- Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Click Submit a suggestion.
- Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
- Click Submit.
I don’t believe this topic needs to become another argument as these discussions have tended towards, so I’m going to close it now.
