So you buff BM in PvE only to gut them the next week?

Has nothing to do with game design and everything to do with players.

Look at how sweaty n min-maxing classic re-release was. It was same exact game design and yet the levels of sweat easily rivaled retail if not surpassing it.

All that effort into DR re-work in 11.0.5…

At first PL was performing better for all content so instead of buffing DR, they will just nerf PL all around despite developer notes claims of “buffing it’s lackluster AoE”

And unless the black arrow bug through walls is fixed, DR won’t be playable anyway in dungeons

Race to world first is over, and M+ content scales infinitely. Most players just want to feel more powerful as the season continues, NOT get nerfed after the first week of a buggy, long awaited hero talent rework, while we had 2 months of BM being completely unplayable in higher keys.

Hunters don’t even have much utility. So many classes offer lust and our “group/raid buff” of hunter’s mark is laughable. For those who don’t know, it’s a single target debuff that costs a GCD to apply. Hence why most raids would not bring more than one hunter, if any at all. Just another reason why if we don’t offer competitive DPS, we’re obsolete.

We are still significantly stronger after next tuesday than we were before this one.

There are very few if any raids that dont have even one hunter and most do have a few.

Luckily we do.

Hunter utility has actually gone up significantly this expansion as well as defensives. Pet defenses suck though. We use to tank bosses, now elites rip through them like paper.

Eh I don’t think a pet is meant to tank the boss for maybe more than 1 or 2 hits. It’s meant as maybe an “Oh crap” moment to use Pet taunt just incase Tank gets trucked.

Nope but they should stand up to most elites the same level without too much mending. Our pets getting wrecked.

Turns out that’s just modern gaming.

Blizz is trying to buff our AOE and reduce or ST. Fine, instead of buffing garbage abilities like MS and Stomp. Rework murder of crows to be an aoe dmg instead of ST or increase the Beast Cleave window to 10 secs like it was in SL. Not sure why they dropped explosive venom to 3 instead of just drop it to 1. There are more creative ways to buff our aoe other then just buffing MS or Stomp. Most boring pedantic developers ever. No imagination at all.

Oof. Bleak Powder not working in ST anymore? It’s, like, 10-20% of my BM hunter’s damage right now. That’s a very, very, very large nerf to ST and even a loss in AoE since it won’t hit the target either. I don’t get how they could even say “niche use” given just how much damage Bleak Powder provided in all circumstances. I’d understand if it had its AoE reduced to beyond 5 enemies instead of 8, but losing its ST basically means it’ll have no single target.

Even did Ulgrax LFR recently, which is almost exclusively ST. Did 557k DPS and of that, Bleak Powder was 12.8%. That’s a gigantic nerf to the ST alone. The AoE loss will also hurt, though admittedly the AoE was a bit excessive.

It’s damage might’ve been bugged though given Black Arrow is supposed to do more damage, yet Bleak Powder seemed to always do double the damage it states it does. It has around a minimum of 340k, but states it should only be doing 158k.

Maybe a bit strong in ST but I feel the AoE nerfs (for pack leader) aren’t warranted at all.

This is just pain balance. They have to change something.
