or is it just going to be one of those super easy things to get as a way of blizz thanking it’s fans?
I mean i’m assuming it’s going to be pretty easy since EVERYONE is probably going to want it, and plus it’ll be in the LFR, but then again ik how blizz likes to throw in those “fun” lil twists eevery now and then.
I need to know to mentally prepare myself for whatever happens.
As long as the event lasts the whole month of November it should be easily attainable. I can’t remember the details but I believe it’s just for completion.

It’s an LFR queue across 3 wings. It won’t be difficult.

It’s from 3 LFR wings so I don’t think it’ll take too much; just people remembering the most basic parts of the bosses they haven’t done in years.

well if thats the case, then you could probably get it within a day. three raids is nothing
If it was overly hard there would end up being a lot of complaints so I feel it will be ok.
It’s the WoW community, there will be complaints no matter how hard/easy it is.

Well, I don’t disagree but if it wasn’t LFR and manual find a group there would have been tons and tons of complaints.
It will be in an LFR thingie, so it will be technically easy but the sheer amount of AFK will make it challenging.
Should just make it all the hard old LFR bosses like Durumu and watch the bodies pile up.
I can’t imagine it’d be more difficult than the Core Hound for the 10th anniversarry.
Hardest part of the 10th anniversary was someone in the lead had the “great” idea to try and go “we can skip around by going this way!”
Except their memory was horribly outdated and the path of skipping around only ended up wasting everyone’s time.
That was my experience with the 10th anniversary.
People trying to ‘skip’ content in a raid instead of just burning their way through it.

The 10th anniversary raid wasn’t hard, but it was excruciatingly long. It ended up taking my group about four hours to clear. I’m just lucky nothing happened during that time that would’ve made me start over.
Thankfully this one is split into wings, so it shouldn’t be anything like that bad.

I think I did it twice. Why twice, I don’t remember anymore. Sure there was a reason I did it a second time. That was 5 years ago.
Second time I got the pet (which I still have) and the illusion enchant.
The worst part about the 10th anniversary wasn’t even the MC raid. That was long (as was said) but once you did it… you got your mount and gg.
Except… there was also a super low drop rate for 2 other things. The Hatespark the Tiny pet, and the Flames of Rags enchant.
If it wasn’t for those two things, it would have been a generally enjoyable walk down memory lane.
Instead, I ran it … I think 4 total times before I gave up in frustration. I just didn’t have that kind of time to devote to a low drop-rate item. Farming HH or Love Rocket is one thing. Those take about 3 minutes per run. Farming MC took AT LEAST 3 hours. It was ridiculous to put rare items in it.
And since we all pray at the alter of MAU now, I can only assume Blizzard is going to pull the same kind of nonsense again. Really… really sucks. >(
And that’s coming from a guy that eventually got both items. I got lucky and someone sold me Hatespark for almost nothing about a month later, and just last year (FOUR YEARS after the event!!!) I got Flames of Rags as a Winterveil Present.
It doesn’t need to be like that. It sucks ALLLLLL of the fun out of the event.

That’s probably why I did it the second time. I’s been five years. Didn’t remember the drop rate was that bad. Lucked out and got both.
Don’t even want to know what Hatespark is going for now.
That’s true of EVERY holiday event. When they make you spin your wheels for hours at a 3% or so drop rate item. It’s just the very definition of unfun(tm pending).
When its fast runs you can easily pop off without thinking about it, no problem. But if its a long crawl just to have a 3% chance? Yeah, unfun.

My guess is it’ll go as well as MC did when they brought that back. (lots of forum qq about difficulty from both sides)
For your amusement, I still remember the numbers from recount. By the time I had the first run done, over 200 people were part of the raid. Yes, recount showed 200 people had joined and left before we finished.
hope people wont be that annoying for this one.
