If I could change the lore I would make the Taran zhu vs garrosh be a completely one sided battle in favor of Taran Zhu.

Taran Zhu should have embarrassed Garrosh in combat, just to show how overconfident and arrogant Garrosh was.

Than they could have arrested Garrosh afterwards

It has in lore. Also no Horde fortresses in Elywnn but dozens of Stormwind ones on Kalimdor
