He has only himself to blame for launching a foolish war. However I dont think anyone can fault him for his anger and hatred of the Horde.
News flash, no matter how inaccurately you throw around the word genocide. That doesnât excuse his committing genocide.
News flash, the Horde commited how many genocides? Like Daelin was wrong for starting a war, but the Horde should take a chunk of blame for what they actually did. Which was also commit genocide, several times actually.
Bro probably 80% or more of thrallâs horde would have been first and second war veterans who absolutely âdidâ terrible awful stuff. Honestly I donât even think the Alliance of Lordaeron bothered to execute any of the most guilty orcs, it seemed like everyone regardless of their part got to be PoWs. The second war ends in year 6, Thrall founds Orgrimmar in year 22, I find it HIGHLY unlikely the Horde was mostly 16 year olds whoâs mothers gave birth to them the millisecond they got thrown into Durnholde.
Yeah no, Katherine and Jaina state their opinions that Daelin only had himself to blame.
Look at the WC2 orc ending, look at what happened to the Draenei. Take this quote from none other than Orgrimmarâs noble and blameless namesake, Orgrim Doomhammer.
âEverywhere he turned there was destruction and devastation. Buildings burned despite being made of stone. Bodies and rubble littered the street. Blood flowed across the flagstones, pooling here and there. Screams indicated that survivors had been found and were being tortured. Doomhammer nodded. It was good.â
Bro was literally like âTheyâre being tortured, this rocks.â and mind you this is Orgrim Doomhammer, who basically was the original âgood guy orcâ, people worse than him would have made up a large swathe of Thrallâs new Horde, which might I remind you was a direct successor to the Old Horde considering Doomhammer personally passed the title onto Thrall.
Itâs a sacred place for night elves, and it matters especially even more after putting their capital on the dragon isles instead of Kalimdor.
Because the Horde is a vassal of the Alliance.
NE have way too much land, everything the night elfs see if their land. They should have 1 or 2 zones, like every other race. Mean while orcs do not have a single zone that isnât contested.
Its not the night elves fault the Horde ruined an entire world.
I only now realized how dumb the lumber thing is considering the orcs are allied with blood elves, who live in a dense forest.
Presumably Ashenvale was also full of game and minerals the Horde was planning on exploiting.
As for Silvermoon, those where magically grown trees so probably not a good source for normal building material(BC describe their use of magic as volatile)
Itâs even dumber than that. Azsharaâs right there, and the Horde got lumber rights there. If weâre fine with overseas shipping, thereâs Pandaria, Grizzly Hills, Silverpine and literally dozens of other locations that wouldnât cause a global war.
Food? Those same places have all that, but youâve also got the Barrensâ various wildlife.
Thereâs literally so many better options, but the silly lumber story is the story we are given.
Those responsible are long dead and Thrall did his best to not be agressive towards humanity in any way or form. Daelin wouldnât hate humans the same way if it was Stromgarde or Gilneas who killed his son. So yes he is a raging racist.
There isnât. Barrens is a savannah and you canât feed a population that number sin tens of thousands with hunting game alone. Alliance got it easy cuz all their land is perfect for farming on a large scale.
Agreed. Only humans have more. Currently they hold:
most of Ashenvale, Darkshore, Hyjal, Felwood, Feralas, Valâshara, Winterspring(?) and stonetalon mountain. For being on the brink of genocide Blizzard designed this game in a way that is anti horde on purpose.
So was Quelâthalas for the Amani but the high elves and humans ignroed that and commited largest massacre in Azeroth history. I canât post images but the firestorm isnât pretty.
Actually the german translation was like this:
âThe remaining people of the alliance have surrendered unconditionally to the world dominating power known to their enemies as THE HORDE.â no mention of genocide here.
More then half the clans stayed behind on Draenor during that time and hold the majority of the Orc race. Thrallâs Horde are just the survivors of the battle at Blackrock Spire. + Warsong. The first group formed the Fel Horde. It is kind of dumb the alliance expeiditon was winning considering the Orcs outnumbered them the whole time. Well Illidans forces specifically the Sunfury finished what the Orcs couldnât in a single night and it was glorious seeing so much alliance death at Netherstorm and Terrokar Forest.
Yes. And we can leave it at that with no further debate.
HAHA, this is insane argument bro. Itâs an american game developed and made by americans, the english translation is definitely going to be the most canon one.
Which was the final battle in what war? Also virtually all of the orcs in the second war would have fought in the first war.
New flash, no.
Nobody deserves blame for being genocide. That is worse than excusing genocide.
You are pulling number out of a hat. But it doesnât matter. Nobody has a right to kill the innocent people no matter the numbers. It is wrong. It is immoral. It is racist.
Nobody deserves to be genocided either or have family lost to a genocidal organization. An organization Thrall was trying to rebuild.
Nobody has a right to free war criminals either but that is what Thrall did.
Thatâs a lie and a half. Thrall was trying to redeem the horde and get them back to their shamanistic roots again
Collective punishment is not moral no matter how hard you spin it.
-stares directly at the camera-
Anyway, context does matter in the exploration of character motivations and discussing the impetus for their actions. But Iâm so glad that we can all agree on that.
By stealing Alliance ships?
