the intro of allied races. blizzard put up a request on the battlenet app for players to go on the forums and tell them what allied races they wanted. horde’s was ogres, alliance was high elves. 2nd place was horde san’layn and alliance vrykul.
That’s not what Horde players want, that’s Alliance players (with their colonial mindset) saying what they want Horde to have.
(Exactly like this thread, btw. The people saying they want Horde to have Ogres… are all Alliance. You want Ogres in the game, fine. Waste the Alliance’s next race on it.)
I’m pretty sure female gobs and dwarves don’t fit that mold.

Yes, there are a couple wackos who keep bumping that thread of theirs, I’m aware.
But they won’t address the existing problems with large races that Horde players are already all-too-familiar with.
If that guy who keeps bumping his thread played a Tauren, I might take his request slightly more seriously.
Again: Ogres as an Alliance race, great. Otherwise, no way in hell.
I am Horde. I want Ogres. I’ve always wanted Ogres. Should have had them instead of Undead or Blood Elves.

we already have a humanized ogre model set in the form of kul’tirans. just give 'em ogre heads and ogre dances, and everything else is solved.
Check out the guild I lead. Stubbornly Horde since 2004.
Then you should be aware of the problems I posted earlier.
