I mean RDF is important but its nowhere near as important as actually being able to get onto the servers… So I think even as a pro-RDFer its clear that in a 1 to 1 comparison in a vacuum, RDF threads are more annoying than server queue threads.
I’m ready for all the returning players making threads about RDF not being in the game.

The annoying part is having to make the threads/post when the problems shouldn’t exist.

OOH, that person that waited until launch but was on a deleted server. Going to find out their characters got moved to Sulfuras.

Get your jerky or pork skins ready for those threads. Don’t eat popcorn though. That’s just garbage.

The queues for prepatch were but a glimpse of what we will see tonight, even after the bannings and the locks. It never ceases to amaze me how many people misunderstand just how popular Wrath is.

seems like 3 hours is perfect.
Server ques have been a thing since 2004 and more recently 2019. The mistake they made was axing the number of servers they did in august.

It’s really not that bad. You don’t have to play on launch day, and the queues will die out in a few days.
It’s not like FFXIV’s expansion launch where you sat in 3 hour queues every day for a month.
The world firsters are already logged in.
I’m sick and tired of hearing about RDF. Not being able to play is a big problem seeing as we literally pay a monthly fee just to log in

Blizzard can fix the que. Wanna see how easy it is.

Swap out mount for a multitude of things and poof, que is gone.
You not being able to play is a myth. You can log into any server without a que at any time.
No one can log into a server a use the RDF feature.
12 million people were able to play during wrath the first time around. You’d think they’d be able to accommodate a quarter of those players 15 years later.
They must have sold all of their server blades to cover legal costs.

Well I don’t think anyone sinks 10+ days of play time into a character to just jump on a different server when content is released.

They offer free transfers.
