This happened so much faster than Vanilla Classic… like at least high-end dungeons lasted until AQ came out…

Indeed it would… didn’t even notice this issue until I spent the last week attempting to form a group four 6+ hour per day and be lucky to run 0.7 dungeons a day. As a god damn tank.

Yea been trying to get rep on my alts and what not. It’s getting ridiculous to get groups for normal dungeons. Heroics are just as bad. Just all the dungeons in general is tough to get groups man pretty sad….

Probably not in tbc unfortunately, but I reeeeeally hope it’s there on launch of wrath instead of waiting for the last patch.

Yes we totally need LFD for tbc.
Then instead of “omg I cant get into a group this game is dead!” we will have
“omg every group I get into disbands because were all melee and bad”
or “omg the tank always leaves after the first wipe and I have to wait another hour”,

Waiting an hour for new group is better then waiting 6 hours for a group and maybe not even getting one.
and maybe learn not to be bad. It isn’t like that doesn’t already happen with groups refusing to have two melee. What different does it make if it happens faster?

Players are too dumb to understand that a geared lvl 70 can carry them in a reg dungeon and would rather use stupid metas of tank,heal,dps,dps,dps.
You don’t need that once geared so allow a high geared DPS to tank them for you and you will get more done.

They need to find guilds and from there ask the more geared members to carry them. No it’s not as fun, but what choice do they have?
LFD would draw players from different servers like battleground ques, currently your locked to a server for pve content, and without enough of a player base some content is impossible to do. No amount of effort or socialization will remedy non existent players.

Trust me I’ve done that when a few of my guildies felt pity for me after the 4 hour of constant search mark.

Simply because it would. The LFD tool will make it so that the few tanks and healers across the entirety of classic can be used to fuel groups. Sure it would take a while for DPS to get a queue pop… but waiting 1 or 2 hours for a pop is a lot better than spending 6 continuous hours attempting to from a group only for it to fail.

Been there done that. Not every player wants to constantly run older content. Sure there are those like me that are asked by a guildie would be down for just about anything, but that is a minority, not a majority.
Yep, this was originally why I part of the #nochanges crowd when coming back to classic. I naively didn’t realize how massively not only the player mentality has shifted, but also the fact that we don’t have new blood constantly streaming in like we once did. Which in all honestly is likely why we have the issues with any non-max level content.

Do it. The game is gonna die anyway and it’s already destroyed by things like boosts and server troubles. Accelerate this game to it’s death even faster. Most of the people who like classic are gone anyway. Now is the time of the retail players to destroy the game again so they can wonder why the game isn’t fun anymore and return to retail.

I was so happy to return to Classic without things like LFD. Unfortunately, on some servers, there is not enough population to get a lot of dungeons going.
I wish they would start connecting realms. I wouldn’t be opposed to LFD at this point.

Wow, a thread filled with bad ideas made by an OP who has a bad idea. What a surprise.
Your server+faction choice is likely the issue, and the fact that there is 0 fresh blood entering this game at this stage compared to original TBC means older content dies fast, most of the people looking to do 5 mans at this point are gearing up alts.
It’s best to already be ahead of this point by seeing the writing on the wall and planning ahead so you dont NEED to be doing normal dungeons at this phase, then whine for incredibly stupid ideas on the forums when you’re caught with your pants down.
LFD only worked in wrath because the heroics were dumb and easy, LFD would be a disaster in tbc and far worse than normal group forming, go to retail if you’re soo in love with retail features.
