Yeah, if not hpal, they will complain about mages, or whichever particular healer is strong atm (e.g., zomg rdruids and mw monks just pve from far away, can’t remove hots, cocoon available for every go, sky is falling, can’t mongo, nooooooooo, have to swap to rsham totems, so oppressive can’t non-stop zugzug, rawwaohohnooono).
Makes it hard to take warrior posts seriously. Arms could use some damage buffs, fury is strong enough right now (defensively) that no one even bothers to try killing them in my lobbies anymore.
These forums should really give Blizzard some more credit for trying. The regular updates have been refreshing, and mostly good, and they are incrementally buffing or nerfing the outlying specs every 1-4 weeks.
We can’t all be S tier every patch. Next season, if we last that long, I’m sure hpal will be brought down to C tier again, as is the way with a wheel of fortune style of class/spec balancing.
There will never be a perfectly balanced season. Honestly wow arena is just too complex for that to ever happen. Everyone will always complain about whatever spec counters them, whatever spec does the most damage, can tank the most damage, can heal the most, has the best cds, has the strongest comp options, etc.
Nerf hpal some more, hpriest and preservation evokers will be your new overlords, as they aren’t meaningfully behind hpal. Then nerf them and then rsham and mw are suddenly the meta again, rinse and repeat until the end of wow.
