Patch 8.2? 8.3? or do I have to wait till next expac?
I mean, Iām not reeeaally gone anywhere
But to answer your question, 8.2 is likely when weāll see a bit of a resurgence in interest. There seems to be a good deal of buzz around the Azerite changes scheduled for then
Thatās assuming that Blizz actually deliver said changes and those changes actually end up being what people are hoping theyāll be
theres always a up tic in pop after new patches drop ⦠then they fall back off
tbh i dont think theres gonna be that many that will come back,or at least until they decide to roll out another quick xpan that over hauls a lot of the bad things that are going on currently
IF i play next expansion , I will have to wait for several months after release to see if its even worth the time. I barely play now but I am subbed for a while. I was waiting for Zandalari to come out but its been so long I just donāt care anymore
Good question. I had spent allot of time getting my friend list active. last one I had 40 or so active friends. now it me. last one log in was three weeks ago. With raid next week I figure some come back. Not happening.
Not everyone will. Some will move on to other games some will go classic. We are the fish in the pond always changing not the stones along the side.
I would think everyone will come back when Blizzard changes their game developing philosophies. People donāt like recycled content. People donāt like time gated content. People donāt like unfulfilling content. People donāt like being milked for their money. People donāt like overbearing RNG. People donāt like what Blizzard has become. And I agree, wholeheartedly. But Iām a sucker so Iāll be here til the wheels fall off and will continue to miss my friends and guild mates whoāve had enough.
Iām done with retail for good, gave all my gold away. Only thing Iām waiting on is classic
I just want people to come back, only reason I stay subbed is because of the rp community but iāve been seeing less and less people, and guilds do rp recently in my timezone at least.
Stormwind used to feel so alive most of the time
This is not your usual ālate-expansion-drought-before-next-expansionā type of thing.
Those people will not come back.
Also if you want RP go to FFXIV, they have more emote and more ways to express yourself.
They also gave new race at launch.
I hope itās not⦠rp in wow has been pretty nice so far doesnāt this stuff usually happen like in legion 7.1?
A few of my guild members mentioned rp in FFXIV too, is it really more active and better than wow? I know close to nothing about Final Fantasy
When a Dwarf leads the Alliance.
When a Dwarf conquerors all of Azeroth.
When a Dwarf leads the armies of Azeroth together into space to kill all threats.
When a Dwarf sits atop the throne and all of Azeroth is at peace for the first time.
My guess would be never.
Some will buy the next expac, get disappointed, and be gone after a month.
Some will leave for Classic and āretailā will be even more dead.
I imagine the game will go free-to-play at some point thereafter.
Taking a short break after ticking off several boxes on my checklist, including getting Exalted with Proudmoores and some Pathfinder stuff.
Iāll be back once the game gets updated with some more stuff for me to do
I wonāt be back for any 8.* content as of right now. Maybe not even 9.0 at this rate.
I just came back. PVP is pretty awful.
9.0 per usual.
If 9.0 is really bad then people will leave until 10.0.
No point staying subscribed to something you donāt enjoy playing.
Personally Iām just leveling alts.
give people flying, put twinks in separate que, make the game enjoyable to those people that like those things.
There will have to be some MAJOR changes before I give Blizzard my money again. I donāt think 8.2 will be enough.
If flying is held hostage at the start of the next expansion then Iām DEFINITELY not getting it. Iām not going to reward these terrible fun killing decisions anymore.
Activision and Blizzardās CFOs have both jumped ship, Bungie has taken Destiny and bailed, Mike Morhaime has cut all ties with Blizzard, the only upcoming āmajor releaseā is Diablo Mobile, stocks are in freefall, and Activision is telling Blizzard to cut development costs while simultaneously giving their new CFO a 15 million dollar hiring bonus.
Itās time to see the writing on the wall and let WoW and Acti-Blizz go.
The good news is the new FFXIV expansion is just around the corner!
